This was by far one of my favorite days in Ireland, even in January. At every corner there are breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. I did not make it all the way around the peninsula, but did make it out to Dingle. I cannot wait to come back in better weather, though I had a fair amount of sun on the day.

We drove the Dingle Peninsula all day and I'd have to say it was great even in the pouring rain and sleet (on Conor's Pass). There are lots of narrow roads and even one that led us to the ocean (not realizing it right away). There's a public restroom in the town of Dingle in case anyone needs one!

The Place to visit in summer. Incridble vistas, beaches. and Dingle harbour . with the sun setting late in the day. loads for kids. and couples.

this part of Kerry is a must to visit when in Kerry. If the weather is good you will really enjoy stopping of in Dingle. The music sessions in the pubs, a boat trip to see Fungi the wild dolphin who has made Dingle harbour his home, the many restaurants serving all kinds of menus. The drive around dingle to slea head and over the mountain to Tralee and along the coast to Killarney can be breathtaking if the weather is kind. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful views and amazing landscape !You will spend all the day at the least and if you are a pictures lover, oh mannnnn... Bring a sofa with you!

If you don't have the time or desire to explore the entire Ring of Kerry which can take a full day of driving, the Dingle Peninsula offers a much more compact version of the same natural scenery along with dozens of its own historic sites that are easily comparable to those along the Ring of Kerry.

Trip around the Dingle Peninsula is well worth it. We did it in December, so it was overcast, but the views of the ocean were still amazing. You'll pull over a lot, so have your camera ready. While in Dingle, don't forget to stop at Murphy's for ice cream, even if it's cold outside. The brown bread ice cream alone is worth the drive.

The Dingle Peninsula was a place we went to fill an open day, and did it ever. We were blessed with perfect weather, and enjoyed the scenery so much. We did this in a car and I will say the driver has to wait for overlooks, and viewpoints to really enjoy the beauty. There are many places to stop for awesome pictures and the town of Dingle would be a place I could spend 2/3 days. There is also a very good Aquarium in Dingle and well worth the time. The aquarium also has one of the most amazing gift shops ever, with all price ranges covered. I sure hope to get back to this peninsula again some time. I would surely consider a long stay in that area. We enjoyed this drive much more than the ring of Kerry. One thing to avoid in the Dunbeg Fort as it is closed down and they will still accept 2 euros for you to get only within 50 feet on the nearest point. Let's not forget The Strand. This is a beautiful beach area and worth it to take the time to stroll and get nice pictures of the surrounding mountains. A sort of surprise was discovering that surfing lessons are available here. There is a nice restaurant/shop located here.

We took a day trip drive' only 30km or so around the Dingle Peninsular, starting and finishing in the township of Dingle. The scenery is breathtaking and as we did the trip in winter there was almost no traffic. Having an insight into the history of the area makes it so much more special. Well worth a drive if you are in the area.

Fun tour with lots of very interesting historical sites! The coast in phenomenal, and the old forts and beehives are a must see!

We had a rental car and drove the Killarney National Park. The only problem with driving is that the driver has to concentrate on navigating the small roads and can't enjoy the beauty of the area. We did a tour of the Dingle Peninsula with Paddywagon Tours out of Killarney and it was worth the 20 Euros because my husband could sit back and relax and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. The Dingle Peninsula and Connemara are probably the most beautiful areas in Ireland, so don't miss either of them!

The drive along the The Dingle Peninsula are some of the most scenic in all of Ireland! We drove from Kenmare to Dingle,just when we thought it couldn't be more beautiful we would come around a bend in the road and the view was even prettier than the last! A good days drive with some pretty dramatic cliffs and seas. Drop in for an Irish designed and made handbag at Conor Holdens as you come out of Dingle, Great hospitality and there are a fantastic pair of sea otters on the beach there.The rest of the coastline is dramatic and has many photo opportunities with high waves and islands just off the coast.Not much open for food when we went, even in Dingle most were not open until 5pm when we were heading back.

We visited Ireland on a 8 day whirlwind visit my husband and I. Dingle Peninsula was just beautiful. The rolling green hills, the water. We were surprised with wonderful weather (70's). The people were wonderfully nice and everywhere we stopped there was someone willing to tell us a story about this ruin or that building or this lake. Wish I had more time to explore
