Myself and two other people got a chance to sea kayak as part of our Ireland tour (Vagabond tours). We were outfitted in wetsuits and after a brief set of instructions we went out to the bay. It was an amazing experience, our guide pointed out different features and told us stories as we were paddling. We were also able to go through two caves, which was beyond amazing! Our guide took a bunch of pictures with her water proof camera and at the end of the trip she gave us all the pictures on a flash drive! It was a fun way to spend the morning and gave us a unique view of Dingle.

Don't miss this experience. My college roommate from the 70's and I knew Ireland was on our bucket list and decided we aren't getting any younger. We kayak and hike and camp and did not want to do the basic tour by bus. She drove. I navigated and planned. And I chose Irish adventures as part of our plans. What a great choice. I believe Noel was our guide and he was very good with us all. Some had kayaked before and some had not so he gave us a quick lesson and told us how not to scream and panic if we fell in so he could rescue us. No problem! The day was a bit cool, cloudy and a bit rough to start but beautiful later for late Sept and we had our wet suits on. Thought I would freeze but they keep you remarkably warm. May have to invest. We got to see Fungie even if at a distant but remarkable all the same. We did not get to see the sea caves close as the ocean waves were quite large and not a safe way to see them up that close with the motion of the waves pushing you into them. But what a great experience anyway. Wish we had done the morning kayak trip and then again in the afternoon. We did the 2:00 trip. Noel even took photos on his waterproof camera and gave us a USB drive to take home with us for 5 euros. I will go again if we get the chance. Thank you to Irish adventures for another highlight of our trip.

A friend and I spent a short time in Dingle last week, and kayaking with Noel was the highlight of my trip! I don't have much experience kayaking, but Noel was patient and effective with his lessons. We were slicing thru the water, seeing spectacular views, exploring caves and watching Fungi the dolphin in no time. Noel was informative and entertaining; he made it a great experience well worth the time and money.

We were a work party of 5. It was a team building exercise. We had a brilliant experience. Can't wait to do it again. We all felt that Noel and his training partner were fully qualified and inspired us with trust and confidence. We were out with the lads for 4 hours or so , it only seemed like an hour. The weather was also in our favour. Wear tracksuits, they provide footwear if necessary.

We did the kayaking trip in the afternoon and it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. We were given wet suits and a quick course on kayaking before going out. The guide was a really nice lady who took the time to make sure we had a great experience. She took photos of us while we were out and sold us a USB stick for €5, which was nice because not very one brings a waterproof camera in vacation. We went in caves and around cliffs and and it was some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. We didn't really see the dolphin. It was far off next to a boat, but it didn't matter. The experience was unforgettable even without the dolphin. Do this. Seriously.

My two daughters and I booked the sunset outing and Alish was our tour guide. She was enthusiastic and fun. It was a great workout to paddle to the caves and out to see Fungi the resident dolphin, which we enjoyed. Unfortunately for us, there was no "sunset" that day due to fog, but with most of the other boats already in the harbor, we had a quiet, lovely paddle back to base. They outfitted us with wetsuits and booties, so show up in your swim suit if you can. Our group was a great size--5 kayaks total. You can rent single or double kayaks. We highly recommend this Irish Adventures.

My daughter (25) & I decided to go Kayaking while we were visiting Dingle 16/9/2014, she was so excited I on the other hand was terrified as we had never done this before. We met Ailish our guide that beautiful sunny afternoon & after a short, but very informative demonstration we left Dingle harbour. Ailish was a superb instructor who put you at ease instantly & very knowledgable of her surroundings. She also made us feel very safe while we were out on the open sea. I was fasinated listening to Ailish explaining the history surrounding Dingle Bay and quickly forgot why I was so terrified about Kayaking in the fist place. We went into the most amazing caves, some of them backwards & came out the other side to sheer beautiful cliffs. Ailish took photos of us both the whole time we were out on the water which we purchased at the end of our day. It was the most amazing thing I have done in a long time & made easy with the help of our guide Ailish. My daughter is now hooked on Kayaking & we both loved every minute of our 3 hour session & cannot wait to do it again. Pity we didn't get to see Fungi but hopefully next time. Thanks to Ailish for her expertise, guidance & patience, we had the best day ever. See you soon Amy & Margaret from Belfast/Larne. I would highly reccommend this activity with Irish Adventures to anyone :)

Very week run, organized and great guides, beautiful way to see places off the path. Well worth it when visiting Dingle or worth the drive from other areas.

Really enjoyed the half day spent sea kayaking in Dingle harbour with Irish Adventures. Well organised and ideal for beginners. It was a unique way to view and appreciate the beautiful coastline of dingle by kayaking in and around the caves and cliffs. Our guide Ailish was so helpful and knowledgeable of the area really made this an enjoyable trip. And to top it off she took loads of pics with her waterproof camera and at the end gave us a usb with over 100 photos of not only us but of the beautiful scenery which was really special. Thanks again for a great time - would highly recommend.

We had a perfect September evening to paddle out with Noel and Irish Adventures and play with Fungii the Dolphin. No wind, calm sea. All the gear was top quality and Noel made sure everyone was comfortable, warm and fully briefed on safety and protocol. His relaxed leadership put everyone in a great mood and bonded the group nicely. After a few practice strokes, we were away out into the harbour and watching Fungii swim around and play with us. Magical. Then Fungii followed us out beyond the harbour mouth to see some sea caves and catch a glimpse of the Blasket Islands to the west. Back into the harbour in time to watch the sunset over Mount Eagle, the sky turning a fiery red as we peacefully paddled home in awed silence. An unforgettable experience. Suitable for everyone (10-70) and general fitness levels and body sizes. Single or double kayaks were offered. If in Dingle, this is an absolute must.

Had a fantastic time kayaking for my first time in Dingle with three friends and our instructor Eilish. I can't rate her highly enough. She clearly loves her job and was so friendly and full of knowledge about Dingle and all the caves/coves. The photos were absolutely amazing and the fact they were included in our group booking was a pleasant surprise. It really was an experience I will never forget and it has fostered a love of kayaking.

My sister and I discovered we could kajak at the last minute, the evening we arrived in Dingle. Our B&B staff called and make a reservation for the next afternoon. We had beautiful warm and sunny weather for our trip. Alise was a wonderful guide, very informative about the area and the sites on the trip, as well as personally very engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Noel was an experienced and patient guide who took us on a 5 hour hike up Mount Brandon on the Dingle Peninsula. He tailored the experience to exactly what we were looking for and had time for, and provided us with plenty of options. He also shared loads of Irish history and facts along the way. He even took some great photos of the 3 of us with my camera. We would go back to them again for sure.

I went with my 8 year old son and 14 year old daughter, we had zero experience, but the guide was very patient and helpful, gave us a brief talk before we went out, and it was brilliant. I found the experience very enjoyable, and intend to go back again next Summer for sure!Christy.
