可以延著城墙遶一大圈,一旁的田野风光有点普罗望斯风,你会以为自己在中世纪的城市外头等著进城,护城河底可以散步,看着陈旧的石头,想像十字军东征时的战况。

Huge construction, very impressive! You can climb on it and from the top you can see amazing nature of Champagne. In the end i recommend to see old cemetery.

The walls and observation points are very well-preserved and imponent. The trench gives the structure an even more impressive look. The gates are beautiful as well.

Enough of the ramparts have been made accessible to let you wander along and imagine what it must have been like in the day. Be sure to explore both inside and outside the ramparts, and look for the little passageway that takes you from the bottom of the moat right through the massive wall and up to the inside.

if you like medieval history and architecture, Provins is the right city. it's very well preserved or restored (depending on the place in the city). the view on the great fortified walls and from this walls is absolutely magnificent. the show with the eagles on the wall is also very nice.

Walking the ramparts is a transporting (and unique) experience. Our kids loved it; we loved the fact that it helped them to burn off excess energy. The view of the countryside are lovely. A must-do.

Provins is one of the rare cities that has been and still is able to keep its medieval nature. More then 1 km of ramparts and towers give a breathtaking view for those that appreciatie ancient cities.

It is a nice walk to go up to the ramparts, but worth doing. The view from its top is nice (the city on one side, the French countryside on the other). We did not do the shows, as we got disappointed by other venues that offer a similar thing, however the walk towards the cemetary is good. It gives an opportunity to see very well the ramparts and you can re-enter the city from another door. Pretty good thing to do, and you can visit the city in a day from Paris; cheap ticket that works for the Metro and the train to Provins and a day return is easy to manage as trains are very frequent.

If you are anywhere near Provins, please do yourself a favor and go. The rampart and gate are the first sight you will see of the city. It's an impressive sight and it is just the beginning of what's to come.

Architecture goes back to the medieval era and it is very interesting to observe. If you have time go around the walls towards the military cemetery where you can observe the ramparts wall fortification which are unfortunately badly damaged (not sure if this happened with time weathering etc or due to battling). In any case in some way this makes it even more dramatic.Would suggest a visit to this medieval town for its historic architecture although I was badly surprised about the lack of restoration of such a historic location (streets, church etc.)

鉄道駅から歩くとプロヴァンで最も遠いエリアになりますが、城壁に囲まれた街の入り口を見ることができます。
