We stopped in for an hour in the fall of 2013 and tasted some wonderful wines in a beautiful setting with gracious hosts. We shipped a couple cases home and continue to enjoy the wine and the memories.

We wondered why some stayed for 2 weeks. After our 3 day stay, we understood the tranquility, hospitality, the people of the region and the beauty of the region. Not only were the wines excellent for the value, the food and generosity was superb. Just plain comfortable!!!

We visited early summer in 2014 with a very small tour group. After a tour of the vineyards and buildings with Daniel, and a tasting of course, we were treated to a terrific lunch on the back terrace served by Anne and Jonathan. A pleasure to visit and we've ordered several cases of wine (Advocate chardonnay and Silk cabernet/merlot) since we've returned to the U.S.. I assume there was a fee for the visit/lunch, but if so it was part of the tour package cost and not broken out separately.Highly recommended!

What a lovey vineyard and tasting room. We spent the afternoon touring the vineyards and had a lovely lunch on the terrace. Beautiful vista with excellent wines. Very accommodating owners....loved seeing their wonderful home and learning more of the area history.

I have been to the Winery twice in two years. We not only toured the winery but also had lunch in the garden. The hospitality is very warm. This is a very interesting family. The wine is fantastic. We purchased a case of wine on each visit and had our own wine tasting back in Florida. Everyone rated the "Advocate" best in the tasting over the California wines we served.Looking forward to visiting again on our next trip to Languedoc.Venice, Florida

We spent several days at Domaine Saint Hilaire last autumn while looking for a house to rent in France. The hosts were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Wines from their vineyard are excellent.

An idyllic spot to soak up the Langedoc sun and enjoy the local scenery, a dip in the pool or a stroll in the beautifully tended rose garden. Owners, Anne and Jonathan James, are wonderful hosts with interesting stories to tell and wonderful wines to sample. Daniel their son is a knowledgeable spokesperson who will tell you all there is to know about the wine production process and introduce you to some excellent wines. The domaine often hosts vernissages in its art gallery - accompanied by a wine tasting, naturally - and some of Anne's delicious appetizers (she is a marellous cook) - and sometimes a concert in the garden.

Some unexpected wines here -- vermentino, cabernet, syrah, among others. Daniel is an enthusiastic spokesman for the winery. I'd expect great things from this winery. I ordered some syrah and cab. The grounds are great and I look forward to returning.

After trying a bottle of the vermentino at Christmas I made contact with Daniel at DomIne Saint Hilaire and ordered some more direct. Buoyed by the quality and speed of delivery And with help and advice by Daniel we put together a tasting for my local wine tasting group comparing 3 different years of Viognier and Syrah. This was a great success and led to more orders . The wine knowledge and enthusiasm shown by Daniel and the team at the Vinyard mean we will be planning a visit very soon to sample the product in all its glory. Many thanks From Nick and the "The early swirlers "

We made an appointment to visit the vineyard for a wine tasting. Our son and his fiance were with us. We made an appointment for 1:30 and Anne asked us if it would be after our lunch. I then asked if lunch was an option. She recommended having a snack after the tour. Jonathan greeted us when we arrived. He introduced his son, Daniel who gave us a very informative and interesting tour. He told us about growing and wine making. He was excellent in describing wine tasting to us and did it with passion and interest in the art of wine. We also ordered a case of 2 of our favorite wines and they shipped them back home. After the tour we had lunch in their beautiful home. The dining room was warmed by the fireplace and the smell of food from the kitchen when we entered, just completed the picture. Our "snack" consisted of soup, salad, bread and dessert. It was so delicious. Anne took me outside to see her beautiful garden. It was February and I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the spring. In the meantime, our son and his fiance had a tour of the rooms they have for guests. What a perfectly romantic place for a couple to stay. Anne, Jonathan and Daniel are wonderful hosts.

We came to France for my mother's 70th birthday, she has always wanted to attend a real wine tasting. Well, we got more than we expected. Our wine guide, Daniel, was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained to my mother how to open up the flavor of the wine, to appreciate the taste and the history of their domaine. We followed the tasting with an amazing home cooked meal and a walk around the grounds. They treated us like we were family and for that i am grateful. Although we didn't stay there, we were given a tour of the rooms and they are beautiful as well and the house has some fun history to it as well.Thank you Jonathan, Anne and Daniel.

I was traveling through the south of France with a group of friends this summer. We decided to stop at Domaine Saint Hilaire on our way from Carcassone to Montpelier. What a great decision! Our guide was Daniel, who gave us a bit of history on the vineyard, their production process, and led us out into the fields so that we could taste grapes straight off the vine. He was informative and also very funny. The tasting that followed was great and we all ended up purchasing several bottles to take with us on the rest of the trip. We even had some shipped home so that we could enjoy the wines again when we were back stateside. (Just had a bottle this past weekend which reminded me that I needed to write a review!)

We visited with our wine tasting group and were treated to an extensive tour of the domaine and the wine production areas. All very well put together, clear and informative, and all questions answered fully and wisely. The tasting which followed was just wonderful, not only the wines which impressed us all, but also the delightful room which was used. We then moved on to a truly memorable lunch in the dining room where we could again taste our favourite wines. Needless to say we all bought wines....and will be continuing to do so!
