在一个可爱的环境里,从主街出发,只要走很短的上坡路,这里有很多可以看的,在花园咖啡厅吃了一个简便的午饭以后,我们在这里花了大半个下午的时间。在音乐间这儿还有一个有用的传记影片,真希望我们先看了这个影片,可以学到很多关于Chagall的生活和艺术的知识。这里还有一个很有帮助的关于展览的电子讲解机,画廊还包括照片,在音乐厅还有一个一个大的室外马赛克和彩色玻璃窗。

这个博物馆很棒,有很多夏卡尔的作品。语音解说是免费的,很棒。有一部很棒的电影但是需要走走才能找到而且没有人告诉你。还可以看看马赛克装饰。可以为夏卡尔的作品拍照,几幅宗教作品对于了解他很重要,他是一个俄罗斯犹太人,后来这位法国画家在美国生活。他的作品中的形象很震撼。

真令人愉悦。我对夏加尔很熟悉,修美术学位时,还学过他的作品。建筑和作品都很美。你可以坐下,好好欣赏自己喜欢的作品。这是家很棒的博物馆。

An amazing art gallery! One of the few that doesn't make you feel 'tired'...and I'm an art buff. The gallery is laid out ideally to display the large, beautiful works, with benchs for contemplation, space for both yourself and the paintings. The rooms are large and airy, allowing the paintings to sing in all their glorious colour! If you were ever in the least bit interested in Chagall's work, this gallery will overwhelm you with the quality and quantity of his work here. Much as I have always loved Chagall's work, I have never so fully appreciated his artistic genius. A beautiful gallery which does Chagall justice....and yes, a good film too...in French.

The exhibit is very well set up and the introductory film is excellent. It is a great place to learn about Chagall and his time. Allow an hour or more for the visit.

For the people who like Chagall. Easy to access even by bus. It has some interesting works worth seeing.

The Chagall museum is a wonderful place to spend a few hours. Chagall's work is excellent and the museum is well set out - there are well placed seats so you can sit and watch the reflection of the mosaic on the water, or look at the red series paintings. The book shop is excellent too, and the outside cafe is a nice place to chill out with a coffee in the late afternoon sun.

Lovely gallery to see Chagall's paintings, stained glass and a wonderful mosaic. There is also a fascinating film about his life. It costs 8 Euros. There is a sweet little cafe in the grounds. Catch a No 15 bus.

Chagalls paintings were very moving to see. He took part in planning the museum himself. Pleasant garden in a nice surrounding.

Staff were welcoming & very informative.This musee National Marc Chagall has alot of interesting history & alot of books in different languages on display .All areas of the this well layed out museum was given our full attention .if like me you like history I would say to Go & visit its well worth it if you are in this area

I used the audio equipment - i recommend. The stories and descriptions of paintings were amazing. The building is also interesting. I bought soma cards and books from the museum shop. The climate was quite rainy and humidity in museum was high - or I felt so.

First off, the building itself, well thought out with huge input of Chagall himself and opened in 1973 during Chagall's lifetime. Perfect location for showing this genius of a painter's works. The display is dominated by a series of seventeen paintings illustrating the biblical message, namely the books of Genesis, Exodus and the Song of Songs. Most of the larger tableaux show images of Chagall's home village of Liozna in Belarus. If you haven't got close up to any of Chagall's work then this is the place, for there is so much to see in each of paintings and they certainly merit close scrutiny. We spent a good 3 hours there including a worthwhile 45 min pause in the little cinema (with stained glass windows by the master) in order to watch a film on the life of Chagall and his works. A must-see for Chagall lovers.

Make sure you use the audio equipment. It makes a huge difference. The descriptions of each of the painting are so detailed you feel you are inside Chagall's head walking you through history. He is a genius, and this museum helps you understand why.
