Just get in, sit down and relax. After walking for hours this place was quiet and revitalizing. Also it smells so nice in there! Thumb stones are little scary though..

Standing tall next to the Royal Palace, St Vitas is an historic site and magnificent structure rising high on the Palace Hill as a local loandmark for all.

At the end of our day, just before getting into our car to take us back to Prague, we popped into St. Vitus' Church. It is quite beautiful. I wish they allowed photography - for my memory of the interior has already faded.

well-attended gothic edifice, has not been the center of 18th century updates, just maintained and used. very peaceful. attended a wedding on the steps.

We have seen a lot of old churches in Europe and while this one isn't spectacular, it's worth a few minutes. The pipe organ is interesting and it was amazing how clearly you can hear the river from inside the church

Very nice church and you can see differenct details from different angles of the church. Will recommend to have a visit for this church.

If you're in town to visit the castle, continue to the town square and on to this church. Unfortunately no photos are allowed inside and the two postcards for sale do not do justice to the church's interior.

Nice church, lovely proportions, some art and baroque alter. Well worth a look, but not the highlight of the visit to Cesky Krumlov!

Just another must see place when in Cesky, a beautiful building, loving cared for at the top of a steep flight of stairs, but definitely worth a visit.

You can feel how this tiny church served the town and imagine the townsfolk leaving the little church and spilling into the square below. The church is in need of love so don't forget to leave a donation!

Visited the church but was not allowed to take pictures, so buy the small book outside for 5 dollars and take the tour following the book. It documents the outside and inside with illustrations and pictures with excellent descriptions. It is short and you would only spend about a hour doing this. The area inside is limited and a lot of areas are not accessible but it is worth the visit.

The church is all what it promises and thensome. Beauriful, meticulously maintained, almost tidy - insofar you can call an ancient cathedral tidy. If you're a worshipper, beware, though. You hardly will have time to dip your fingers into the holy water chalice and the maelstrom of tourists will spill you out. Or some cereminiary will ask you very earnestly to leave because the next wedding ceremony is already aeaiting its turn

From the outside this church looks amazing, but once you get inside it's even more spectacular! Looking up inside the nave makes you think of god! The only thing I didn't like was that some of the nave is roped off so you only see the West End of the church! Although you can see the chancel you can't go up to it!

If you pass by this church while in Cesky Krumlov take a quick peek inside. Compared to other churches in Europe it is rather small, but it has nice stain glass windows and high arches. We really just stuck our heads in, took a quick look and left, as they do not allow photos and it is not a particularly impressive church. There really isn't much to see.

The altar is spectacular (and has an interesting story behind it) and the space itself is really majestic.
