Nature Educional Trail in the National Nature Reserve Mionsi was established in 1954. In 1989, it was closed to the public and reopened in 2005 with area of 169.70 hectares. Mionsi is the largest area of naturally growing fir-beech forest of the Carpathian type in the Czech Republic, with mosaic of forest vegetation, small forest meadows (the so-called Polana), spring and rocks. The Nature Trail is a nearly 7 km long route, with elevation 300 m, route is only for pedestrians with only a guide. The departure point for the nature trail is about 200 m from the bus stop called Matyscina louka in Dolní Lomná where you can find a car park, too. The primeval forest is open from 1 June to 15 Septemner.
