This park is a welcome respite from the multitude of churches and other buildings in this attractive hilltop city. They do however squeeze anther church into the park. The public toilets are clean and have toilet seats which is unusual locally

After a day spent visiting the main attractions of Ibla, we decided to relax in this fantastic place where we also had the chance to visit the Church of San Giacomo UNESCO.

The trees provide some welcome shade during hot days, and the play park is ideal for entertaining little ones who are a little overloaded with 'culture'!

I loved to sit in the shade and read or just watch local families enjoy this little oasis. The perfect place for sunset views.

We visited Giardini after full day walk tour through Ragusa and Ragusa Ibla to wait for the bus time in here, it was like a small oasis for taking a breath, stealing a shade and enjoy nature after all the picturesque yellowish streets and buldings around in Ibla. A few important churches here to see also, but whats makig it different than the rest of the town is that green surrounding thats just like fell out of nowhere here in Ibla. If you are tired of walking, sightseeing, antique and roman architecture, tight streets and sitting at the restaurants... come to Giardini to find peace, it will be provided here at a glance.

The journey up the mountain from Modica took my breath away, literally! It is a very steep climb. The gardens were a beautiful calm and very green place to sit and rest from the searing temperatures which are in the mid 30's. The views from the gardens over the valley were beautiful, the little town of Ibla is very pretty and well kept. Well worth a visit on a weekday, as it is easy to park near the gardens. If you hate heights and twisty mountain roads as I do, you will need to take several seep breaths!

Loved the gardens, very busy on Sunday when the whole of Ragusa seemed to come out, went back on Monday and had a fantastic peaceful time. Found the sandwich shop recommended on Trip Advisor, best value for money of the whole two weeks.

That says it all. Nothing of great interest - the town is so much more interesting, but I am sure it would be a bit more of a haven in the heat of summer.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful: well kept, tidy, wonderful panoramic view of the valley Ragusa Ibla is framed into. And the scent of citruses in mid-February is enchanting...

We were here in the fall season 2 years ago. This garden stands in contrast to the rather stark stone image of the town itself. Many locals come to hang out here late in the day, either amidst the trees or to take their kids to the playground section. Mediocre statuary but good views. The garden 'works' in the sense that it is an utterly authentic slice of local way of Life. Surely that is what the traveler seeks most. Satisfaction guaranteed, especially if you come a few afternoons in a row.

We visited the gardens twice during our stay in Ragusa Ibla, and both times were grateful for the children's play house, where we sheltered during heavy rain showers! The gardens themselves looked well tended, and I imagine in Spring and Summer the flowers must look beautiful. Splendid views and some interesting abandoned church buildings. The children's play area is very well laid out.

These giardini are breath-takingly beautiful by day and incredibly magical by night. I'm madly in love with this place so my review might be slightly biased in this sense but Ibla is all magical and these gardens are what the Italians would call "la punta del diamante" - that crowning glory. They are antique and scenic, peaceful and serene. Grab an ice-cream from nearby Mastrociliegia and the night becomes because even more special.

We loved walking in the public gardens on a Sunday when families were out with their children. There was a lovely atmosphere and the views from the footpath overlooking the valley were breathtaking.

Lovely shade and great views over the valleys around Ibla. Gathering place for families on Sunday, good nearby restaurants and cafes (e.g. Cafe Ibla with great service and home made pastries) and bus for going back up the hill into Ibla Superiore.
