What a gem. After visiting the Canadian war cemetery below the city, we drove to the top of Agira, stopped and walked around. Thirsty, we saw glass etchings of Satchmo holding his horn, and a sign for this place called the Swing Cafe.... go figure. So we walked in for a drink. 2 canucks. Wouldn't you know it, the bar keep teaches trumpet during the year in Milan and spends his summers in his family's property which he converted to a cafe for the purposes of honoring the jazz greats. The espresso was perfect, the music divine....and wouldn't you know it, the owner's favorite big band, "THE CANADIAN BRASS". GRAZIE.
