My husband surprised me with this musical evening. We are not lovers of opera, but it didn't matter. We 'experienced' La Traviatta. Guests sit around the room, as if you are truly part of the play. In the first scene (a party) we were given glasses of Prosecco by one of the 'guests'/actors as he sang. For each new scene/act, we moved to various rooms in the glorious palazzo. Between scenes, wine/Prosecco was served. A very unique experience. Worth every penny. We are in Venice again now and plan on attending another performance this week.

We couldn't find an opera playing at La Scala or La Fenice, so we booked this instead. If it hadn't gotten good reviews, we might have thought it was a scam--provide us with your personal information to "join our club," and then pay us in cash. It didn't engender confidence! I'm glad we weren't scared off.The singers had quite nice voices, and the space was small enough that it was easy for them to dominate it. We saw Rigoletto, and we enjoyed very much.

We went for a refreshing take on Rigoletto based on the recommendation from our hotel staff and we were not disappointed . Important to say this was our first live opera show and we knew no Italian except for a few words and therefore bought the translation booklet at the event . We were a bit apprehensive but for nothing, as it was a magical experience . The settings, costumes, decor, performance and ambience was all very effective . The scenes were laid out in different rooms and as audience this moving between scenes added a touch of welcome involvement. The candle lite rooms proved perfect for the grim tale and the singing was top notch. It seemed such a great idea to set this show up in a great old palazzo, oozing with character. We felt like we were back in time. The fact that people like us who were true opera novices found this so gripping is in itself a testimony to the organizers and its collaborators.

When my daughter and I decided to visit Italy and France last year my only request was that we had to attend the Opera. Jill is what you would call a 'seasoned traveller' so she knew all the spots to check out experiences. We booked it well ahead of time so when the night finally arrived I was more than excited. From the moment we arrived I just knew that it would be a magic experience. The singing raised the hairs on my next and pulled at my heart strings. I would definitely put it on your must do list....

This was our first experience of opera and I can highly recommend it. The setting is so intimate and the surroundings so stunning, it all adds to the ambience of the event. We saw La Traviata and were totally amazed at the unique and amazing way in which the story is told. The performers themselves are fantastic and really bring the story to life. What a fabulous way in which to hear opera for the first time - unmissable!

One of the highlights of our trip to Venice. We only booked tickets the night before the performance, having picked up details in our hotel. Beautiful setting and excellent performance.

This was one if the most gorgeous and elegant experiences of my life. I adore opera but to be sat amongst these top class performers in a utterly gorgeous building just made the experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Their English is very perfect - so fear not if you don't speak italian.Make sure you follow a map in order to find this place. Although the location makes it feel that much more decadent and secluded. Which really adds to the feeling of being transported back to indulgent Venezia. Do not hesitate to treat yourself to this gorgeous experience.

Went to the Love Duets on January 13 and was so deeply moved I can hardly explain it with words other than to say it was a breathtaking and cellular experience. Beyond magic. The performers were all outstanding and the intimate space was gorgeous. One of the most incredible experiences of my life.

We visited in January 2015 based on a recommendation from a friend. This was the most interesting and enjoyable experience for our first time Opera. Set in an old run down Palazzo accessible down a dark alley, the evening started with a mysterious undertone. Being new to Opera we chose to see 'La Traviata' as we were more familiar with the pieces of music from this show. The setting is extremely intimate as you are part of the stage sitting in the shadows watching a very private moment unfold before you. Each act moves to a different room in the Palazzo, with a small 4 piece orchestra playing and the actor sing within centimetres of the audience. The live music and the singing bring the story to life. It is very intense and moving, even for those who are not familiar with the story. The cost is quite expensive but on par with shows in the West End. Before the show begins you are required to sign up for 'membership' at the cost of €75 per person payable in cash only. This does add to the feel of it being a very underground and exclusive. Tip - don't be late! The doors close promptly at 8.30pm and anyone who is late is left out on the stairs for the first act.

This was the most wonderful opera I have ever attended. I highly recommend this venue for anyone visiting Venice. It is a MUST if you have school age children (preferably Jr and Sr high aged). It will give them a taste of opera that they will NEVER forget.

We visited in September and found this place following our planning & internet search for mini opera. We were very pleased that we pre booked as this was excellent and fun. I suggest that if you have time find the place in daylight as it isn't obvious in the dark, and booking in advance is obligatory as you have to become a member of the Society to get a ticket ! It was full when we went and we endured a hailstorm that partly flooded one room. However the cast worked around it without difficulty and the show went on. The standard of costumes and singing was superb, the variety of rooms that you move into added to the ambience, you felt part of the scenes. You have complimentary wine in the intervals I would definitely highly recommend this experience, a brilliant evening out. .

We had this recommended by a friend, and were very pleased that we took his advice. I didn't want to sit through a whole opera, so this was excellent and fun. I suggest that if you have time find the place in daylight as it isn't obvious, and booking seems to be obligatory, it was full when we went on 23/12/14. I would definitely recommend this experience.

You can find lots of musical instruments from old to new. A great place to take adults as well as kids to learn and experience some of the older musical instruments. You can also purchase CD's and music sheets.

This ensemble provided a high energy and entertaining abbreviated La Traviata. It was a lovely evening. It does not often happen that one is three feet away as the voice is used to fill an auditorium. The pathos and passion of the performers courses through the body.We researched this thoroughly. Communication with the organizer was accurate and we received a telephone confirmation call as well as email the day before. Make sure that you have a means of local confirmation.Audience was dressed from khakis to long skirts. We thought that we were early and were actually one of the last to enter. Go early. Also, sit up front and become part of the opera. It is fun!!We found a reasonable restaurant by going over the small canal bridge and taking the right fork, went over another bridge and made a right. The restaurants right off the Giglio landing were very expensive,
