Beautiful little town with very nice piazza. Town is not comercialized at all. It's peaceful and without tipical tourist crowds. You'll see locals and their daily routine all over centro storico.

On this piazza, there's lots of inscriptions about the people who helped making Italy an unified country. There's even an inscription about Giuseppe Garibaldi, who later went to Brazil and married Anita Garibaldi. Later, they fought for the Farroupilha Revolution in Brazil. There are good restaurants around and also dozens of shops, including one from Benetton, whose headquarters is in Treviso.

A nice place to sit and sip on an Aperol Spritz, or just people watch. Look out for the dog leads, there are hand bag dogs everywhere getting under your feet. But nevertheless very clean and tidy nice place to sit and watch the locals promenading!!!

One of those places that you need to see , the best time ti visit it is in Sping time... the Sun will have the right angle so will highlight the buildings and the view it is beautiful :)

The piazza has a lot of history and it is very suggestive thanks also to the buiding around it. However I think that the best attractions you can find are the pubs anb bars. I strongly reccomend you to stop buy one of them, have a spritz or a glass of wine and enjoy the atmosphere. So relaxing.

This piazza was the site of a German bombardment during WWII, but after its reconstruction it has become the trendiest Treviso area, full of fine dining and shopping choices.

Treviso is 28 kilometres from Venice, Italy. If one gets the opportunity to stop in you will find an old city with excellent restaurants, Osterie (pubs), scenery etc. When a person walks with family or friends under the Calmagiore, about a one kilometre walk, this is a favorite evening or weekend stroll for family, friends, lovers or just by yourself you will see good shopping, food, and odors of fresh expresso. Having said this you must also look UP under the porticos and sides of buildings for the Frescos though faded they are still visible. Treviso is also known as "La Cita D'Arte", (the city of Art) I suggest a stop here, have a walk, have a glass of Prosecco wine with a snack and just enjoy the ambience.

Me and a friend went to Italy in the summer, and the purpose of the trip was to visit Venice. However, we stayed in Treviso which is just outside of Venice (short train journey). I am so glad we did as Treviso was beautiful to visit, especially the Piazza. Here we had dinner and some drinks one evening, followed by shopping in the streets just around the Piazza. I would recommend any tourists visiting Venice to make a trip to Treviso and take in the beauty of the town.

There always seems to be something happening in the Piazza. Even when there is nothing organised, it is usually full of local people meeting and chatting.

We had a couple of hours beetween our connecting flights in Treviso so we went to the city (very easy with the bus number 6). It was a big surprise! It is a fantastic little city with lovely city centre, churches, old palaces Around the city centre is a river and the remains of the old citywall, You can find good restaurants and coffee bars, peaceful and calm life. The people of Treviso are proud of their city and keep it clean. I can recommend to everyone if visit Veneto don!'t miss this hidden beauty!
