If you are in Positano, this is a quaint little stone diorama of the town of Positano. Not something I would go out of my way to see, but if you are walking through the town, especially with kids, it is an interesting attraction.

In the middle of Via Pasitea, next to staircase to the Hotel Conca D'Oro you can park your car and observe the details.

A quick stop as you are walking up or down from the beach. Interesting homes carved in the side of the wall. Nice to look at as you are walking.

not a big cave, just in the middle of the street. you can see it while you walk by the street. Nothing very special

What a fantastic surprise as we were walking to find this grotto. We found it walking up the street. We also saw these in Amalfi. So many surprises. Positano is beautiful.

It's a grotto. Which is kind of like a cave, but with less effort. And it's got some little do-dah's in it. And the little orange local Positano busses stop there on their way through the town. Occasionally they're on time. More often than not, they're early. Or late. In Italy, bus timetables, like road rules, are more an aspiration than actuality. Also, some swarthy blokes park a fruit and veg truck here. You can stock up on your essential 5-a-day. Even if there aren't fruit trucks or Kamikaze busses about, the Grotta's worth looking at as you pass by as you amble down to one of Positano's many delights. (But seriously. It's not worth having a trip advisor 'attraction' thingy for it. And there are definitely more than 9 better things to be doing with your time in Positano!)

About half way up, or down, Positano is this little grotto. It does not take long to see but it is worth seeing. We were told that during the Christmas holidays that they put a little nativity scene in here. I am sure it is really cute since there are already little houses/scenes in here already.

Beautiful and private beach. Water taxi return to port ... 420 steps down to beach! Restaurants on beach with daybeds and umbrellas for hire if wanted.

This is inside a very small cave. Yes the light that comes in and makes the water blue is beautiful, however, it is merely that, a cave with a small portion of blue water. It is 5 euro pp which is relatively inexpensive compared to some tourist attractions, and it only takes 20 minutes to see. The boat workers seemed drunk, but we didn't care, it's over before you know it. They do hassle you for a tip at the end, don't fall for it, 5 euro is more than enough to see the cave, if you've made the effort to be on the Amalfi Coast, I suggest seeing the cave.

I really enjoyed seeing this, I don't know how they've done it but it looks amazing. Well worth a stop to see this.

Una gruta natural, adornada por las gentes locales con un toque místico. Desde allí se bifurcan la calle por donde circulan los vehículos, y las escaleras que bajan a la playa del Fornillo.
