This town hall was built 1561-1574, under its current meeting room is in the basement a medieval Mikvah (ritual Jewish bath) located, yet even today its water level rises and falls with the Rhine level. In the building is also the city library located. After the destruction of the Jewish community in 1349 the City Council came into the possession of the coveted site of the Jewish ghetto in the Hochstraße /corner Kramgasse. The "Mikwe" (jewish ritual baths) in its interior can only be visited via the city-guidetour on sathurdays 14.30h. The building currently houses the library.

Das historische Rathaus wurde 1561 bis1571 gebaut. Man sollte sich es ansehen. Uns hat es gut gefallen.

Sehr schönes, historisches Gebäude, in dem man gewesen sein muss, wenn man in Andernach war. Passend dazu die Stadtbücherei!

El histórico Ayuntamiento de Andernach, se encuentra ubicado entre las callejuelas del centro histórico de la ciudad, en una zona completamente peatonal, cercana a la zona comercial y, de bares y restaurantes.Es un antigüo edificio, muy bonito, con una fachada sencilla y en tonos claros, donde destacan dos balconadas en madera, decoradas con flores.Si realizas un paseo por el recorrido turístico de la ciudad, seguro que te lo encuentras...además hace esquinazo, se vé enseguida.Os gustará.
