I was so lucky to see this stop on the driving way B500 through the Black Forest. It looked very charming in the evening and early morning when the Sun starts rising. The restaurant served delicious local food with very reasonable price. When I came there was a congress in the Kloster so quite a lot of people were there, but still, very cozy environment.

Coming from Ireland we have many ruins of abbeys so if your are simply going for the ruins then it is pretty but nothing spectacular. However the walk up to the abbey past the waterfalls is gorgeous! The pathway winds up past the waterfalls which tumble down from various heights and positions along the route. *Warning* there are many, many steps to climb to the very top, but it is worth it in the end.

Driving thru the Black Forest, we veered off from B500 and stopped at this place. Interesting ruin of a church and nice waterfalls nearby. We had a nice hike down to waterfalls and back. Watch out for the slipperly steps when wet. I don't recommend it for those who have walking issues--no stroller/wheel chair access. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed (only open for Saturday and Sunday lunch during winter or just happened to be closed when we were there).

It's a great vista and an interesting walk through history. Always friendly service and good food at the restaurant here, too. A super hike.

The ruins are small but nice to see with plenty of explanation on how it became a ruin and the sages that it holds.From the ruins you kan take the 4,5 km hiking path to the waterfall of Allerheiligen (a lot of long and high stairs, not advised for people with walking problems). It's a beautiful path all along the waterfall, even along the highest fall that makes the small hike worthwhile.

Driving along the Black Forest High Road is an adventure in and of itself with numerous stops for photos and hikes, but the sign for "Allerheiligen Falles" had me turning off. The side road has many hiking trails and parking areas too. I suggest you go past the main parking lots for the Kloster and park at the base of the falls, then hike up to the ruins so your return to the car is easier. There's a convenient museum and gift shop at the Kloster plus a restaurant for more substantial meals. As a bonus if you take the side trail up to the right before the kloster you'll see a fenced off section which had a small herd of palmate deer, or at least it did when I was there.

Ein Besuch am Kloster und ein Spaziergang dort lohnt sich, aber einmal reicht dann auch. Das Kloster ist schön gelegen in mitten der Berge.

Très bel endroit, fort sympathique pour se promener, faire des balades ou des randonnées en forêt ou surtout, le long de la cascade tout en escalier, pas trop difficile, superbe, une obligation, mais il faut se prendre le temps, le dénivelé est important.En haut, la visite des ruines du monastère, c’est vrai, le tour est vite fait, ainsi que la cave sous le magasin qui vend des produits locaux, et pour terminer un restaurant, lui aussi fort sympathique où l’on mange bien avec un agréable service pour pas cher.Superbe sortie.

der Treppen-Weg vom Parkplatz zu Ruine und Gaststätte ist eigentlich schön, aber am Wochenende total überlaufen. Gaststätte ok, allerdings schien der Service teilweise überfordert. Der Rundweg führt dann durch den Wald zurück.

Esta igreja em ruínas encontra-se num parque com acesso a cachoeiras. O local estava vazio a não ser por algumas crianças jogando.

Très belle ballade qui peut se faire du haut (via Achern) ou du bas (via Oppenau), tout est en escaliers donc praticable, le dénivelé reste important donc doucement. En haut, le couvent et un restaurant. Les alentours sont également magnifiques. En prenant la route du Hochschwarzwald, on peut poursuivre aller voir le lac de Mummelsee.

Ruine top und der Wanderweg am Rande der Wasserfälle ein muss!Aber Obacht. Meiden Sie die Gaststätte des Klosters. Katastrophaler Service - völlig überfordert- schlechtes essen und sehr teuer für diese schlechte Leistung!!!

Die Wasserfälle von Allerheiligen liegen im Schwarzwald nahe Oppenau (+/- 10km nördlich von Oppenau) in Deutschland. Der Schwarzwald an sich ist schon eine schöne Gegend und der Besuch dieser Wasserfälle ist ein Muss. Über 100m stürzt das Wasser in mehreren Stufen hinab ins Lierbachtal.Leider regnete es stark an dem Tag unseres Besuches und wir konnten die angrenzendenden Klosterruinen nicht besuchen, wir unterbrachen unsere Wanderung ab ungefähr 85% des Wanderweges. Aber wenn ihr unsere Fotos anschaut dann werdet ihr verstehen dass es sich lohnt diese Stelle zu besuchen. In den Fotos erkennt man auch dass es schon mehrere Tage geregnet hatte, da das Wasser bräunlich rot gefärbt ist und die Wassermassen mit ungeheurem Druck sich seinen Weg bahnte. Zu erwähnen sei auch noch, dass es einen grossen Parkplatz vor den Wasserfällen gibt und vom Parkplatz aus sind es nur 50 Meter zu Fuss bis zum Eingang der Wasserfälle, die übrigens über Treppen aus Stein, verteilt über mehrere Etagen, zu erreichen sind. Wo man darauf achten sollte: man muss sich bewusst sein dass die ganze Fahrstrecke im Schwarzwald von Wanderern genutzt wird und dass durch die "Zick-Zack" Kurven eine angemessene Fahr-Geschwindigkeit angebracht ist ;)Alles in Allem, ein Platz den man besuchen sollte.

Zufällig sind wir auf dieses Kleinod gestoßen, das an der kurvigen und schmalen K 5370 rund 12 km nördlich von Oppenau liegt. Wir sind vor dem Rummel um den Mumelsee dorthin geflohen. Es hat sich gelohnt. Um das Ganze zu genießen, parkt man am besten auf dem Parkplatz oben auf Höhe des Klosters. Die Ruinen sind eindrucksvoll - und ich werde jedesmal wütend darüber, dass im Rahmen der Säkularisation soviel zerstört wurde. Der Klosterhof der Familie Schweiger empfiehlt sich für eine Einkehr. Dort wird einheimische Küche zu günstigen Preisen geboten.Am besten hat mir jedoch die Rundwanderung vom Gasthof zu den Wasserfällen gefallen. Vom Aufbau her bietet sich der obere Wanderweg an, der nur wenig bergauf und dann ins Tal hinab zum Beginn der Wasserfälle führt. Die Wasserfälle selbst fallen in vielen Kaskaden durch eine enge Schlucht herab. Mutige können in den kleinen Tümpeln sogar baden. Zurück führt der Weg am Anfang über viele Treppe eng am Wasser entlang. Dann wird es wieder gemütlicher. Die Gesamtstrecke soll etwa 3,5 km betragen und kann gut in 1 1/2 h begangen werden.

A quelques km de la frontière francaise, joli coin sympathique pour se balader en famille.Pas de difficulté particuliere. Nous nous sommes garés sur le parking au bas des chutes et sommes montés jusqu'à la ruine du monastère.Ensuite avons fait une petite balade (bien balisée) pour revenir au parking.Il y a aussi d'autres parcours.
