feuerwehrmuseum (fire service museum)

We intended only to see the castle and have our picknick there. We then decided to see the museum as well. We did not regret it. The museum is not open. One clings a bell and an inhabitant of Waldmannshofen arrives within 5 minutes to open the door. Several floors are packed with all regarding firabrigade etc. The museum is housed in a former moated castle. It documents the history of fire fighting technology during the last 200 years: fire pumps, international collection of firemen’s helmets, stamps with fire fighting themes, fire fighting equipment, etc.

Dentro de los apabullantes paisajes con construcciones medievales perfectamente conservados, se encuentra el Museo de la brigada contra el fuego. Está en lo que era un castillo y podemos apreciar la tecnología de la lucha contra el fuego desde hace 200 años.
