oceanic chill out bar

This place came recommended by a work colleague. We spent most of our evenings in here chilled out after our meal. Service is exceptional, the owner goes above and beyond to make you relax and serve you. The bar was usually full when we arrived but within a second the owner pulled out extra chairs and a table. Amazing! Cocktails are so lovely and the decor is fab...unlike the rest of the tacky "Brits abroad pub-like" ones on the strip. Music is to everyone's taste and at a good volume so you can actually have a conversation. Would highly recommend.

As before, still the best cocktails on the island and still the cheapest bar. How he keeps the prices so low I don't know. All branded spirits and no fakes. The new décor makes you feel even more chilled out. If this bar had beds i'd be quite glad to wake up here, not sure the wife would though, she loves her bed. Simply the best.

Love this place, the drinks (all branded) are excellent, met some lovely people here and had some great nights. The music is superb but not to noisy. Will continue to go back here. Cheers Kev.

second time out to the island this year, have been to the island lots of times, if you dont know were it is, its not on the main strip, but at other side of resort, across the street from hotel cavo d oro, on the old kalamaki road, love this bar, kevin the owner is a really nice person and cant do enough for his customers, some of the most origonal cocktails going, I would recommend mint matchmaker, or banoffee pie or strawberry short cake and all at a reasonable price, bar has been refurbished at the start of the season and is looking good,this cocktail bar has no tvs showing sport or british TV, no loud club music pupming out, just good good back ground music, just chill out and relax and chat to each other, he also does a good line of rock style t shirts. we will definately be back again next year.

One of the best bars in kalamaki. Along with the best barman . Visited this bar most nights whilst on holiday . We felt at home immediately. Kev always found us a seat when his bar was full . Such a hardworking guy. Great cocktails fab prices great music. What more can i say . Went with my hub ,mum, dad and auntie to celebrate my birthday and could not have wished for anywere better than to celebrate it there . 5 stars from us kev.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings at the Oceanic...the cocktails are lush!!!..lovely relaxed atmosphere..met some lovely people...great music..Kevin is a fantastic bloke with a wealth of music knowledge..defintely returning next year!!

This was on our to do list and we certainly did just about every night of our holiday , and its always full but don't worry as Kev will always find you a seat ! Great place to relax with background rock music , strong , cheap and varied cocktails , no TV's or Karaoke and the world's most hard working and friendliest barman in Kev ( well he is Welsh ) . Nothing is too much trouble there and if he runs out of anything then watch him run over the road to the supermarket for supplies ..... we will defo be back again .

if you want to chill-out with a great cocktail, great music and service from a guy who cares about what he does, then this is the place to come.Everyone is made to feel welcome and Kevin will chat if you want or just leave you to relax but always has an eye out for anyone wanting another drink so their not kept waiting.Plenty of cocktails to choose from or Kevin will make one you that's not on his list if you ask him, and if you don't like one he will change it anyway so you really cant lose.Thanks for the Txt-shirts Kevin, especially at such short notice. See you next year (make sure you get more of that secret ingredient in for my Turkish delight cocktail )

This is a lovely bar. Definitely an oasis of calm with relaxing music and not a TV in sight! The cocktails are fabulous. If you can't see what you want on the menu, Kevin will ask you a series of questions and mix a cocktail specifically for you.

Does exactly what it says on the tin! Lovely clean decor, nice mix of music, fabulous cocktails and one amazing dude running about keeping everyone happy.

we were actually staying in Laganas but this was on my list to visit when we visited Kalamaki! my only regret is we only got to go once but this place, along with ESSENCE are the reason we would return to zante for a fourth time!!Look, do not review this place if you are going to be critical about it been slow paced or lacking atmosphere or too quiet or...whatever!!! it is exactly what it says on the tin!!brilliant decor! a great host! fab cocktails with a twist that are to die for and cheap as chips!!! you will be spoilt for choice!! and a fantastic playlist to boot!! I cannot speak highly enough of this place! If you are a couple looking for a place far from the madding crowds then come here!!!! Did i care if I had to wait for a drink?? hell no!!! just place your order and enjoy when it arrives!!I love been able to kick back and relax and not feel rushed to purchase drinks before I have even finished the first!!we managed to have a brief chat with the owner as we were ready to leave in between his chaotic dance around the tables serving his customers and he told us all about how he started oceanic. Kevin keep up the good work and we plan to return next year so please be there!!oh and P.S ... please can I have the Marc Bolan print on your wall if you ever tire of it? x

This little bar goes to show that you don't have to spend a fortune on surroundings to make a little palace. Kevin the adrenalin junkie is still running about at a frenetic pace ensuring that everyone gets what they want. An oasis of calm, for not only the oldies, but for many younger visitors. His drinks are of the highest quality and his cocktails are relly different. I couldn't resist the "Turkish delight" and my wife swears that his cosmopolitan was the best ever. I even dared to have a long island iced tea. seven measures of spirits in it you are warned. What a nightcap, I slept like a baby. A chance to meet and talk to people from all over and be able to hear each other. A bar like no other. Please visit, so that Kevin can keep Helen in the manner she has become accustomed to.

What fantastic place this is . Loved the décor , it had a relaxing feel to it , it was modern , chilled out and clean . Kevin the owner is such a nice guy and literally will make a cocktail out of anything . The drinks are very reasonably priced and all are branded spirits , the Long island tea is to die for . He plays great music and the atmosphere in the place is so friendly I have never been to a bar where so many strangers have ended up talking to each other . Kevin if you read this don't change a thing about your bar .

Great little bar. Great cocktails, almost unbelievably priced considering the quality, and a really good atmosphere. We turned up late a couple of nights and were allocated the 'emergency chairs' and perched on the edge of an existing table, meaning that we spent the next couple of hours chatting away to people who we'd never have spoken to beforehand. Music was a really good mix of everything and we visited this bar on every one of our ten nights in resort.

Once again Kevin comes up trumps with his excellant cocktail bar. The ambience gets better every year - superb lighting, excellant cocktails, and connect 4! It can get very busy, but Kevin will put up a table and chair from somewhere. Come and join the fun.
