rented a boat from Paxos and visited Antipaxos!! The magical Island with crystal clear Waters! it has no inhabitants and there are only a couple of restaurants that serve anything they have fished earlier that day! The Voutoumi beach is one of the world's most beautiful beaches! I was surprised not to see it in lists of world's top beaches! We reached Voutoumi beach a little bit late so we swan for a while to enjoy the amazing water and then moved to the beach next to it which was also great!

Went here 3 days, 2 days with the taxi boat and 1 day with a rented boat , could not get enough of this place. Seems to have it all, clear water, white sand, food, drinks, sunchairs, rocks, fish, trees, like in the exotic beaches .

Voutoumi Beach is on Anti-Paxos which can only be reached by boat. There is nowhere to stay on Anti-paxos but small boats can be hired on Paxos and as it is only about 2km south of Paxos you can reach this beach in about 30 Minutes or so, depending on where you hire your boat from. Don't worry they won't hire you a boat if the weather is in the least dodgy. You can also take a trip boat from various places on Paxos but most stop at Vrika Beach which is the first beach you come to on Anti-Paxos and so it is always crowded. but move on another 200 metres round the next headland and there you will find paradise. A small boat can safely go right into the bay and anchor in 2 or 3 feet of water or deeper if you want to dive in as the water is so inviting. the sea is so warm and the bottom is sand. There are a few rocks on the sides of the bay so keep away from them. there is a taverna but it is up 100 or more steps so it is best to take a picnic with you. Now you know about Voutoumi Beach, please don't tell everyone, Keep it to yourself and enjoy.

The best place that I have ever swim! When I get there I have almost cry from joy! A must place in Greece!

Voutoumi Beach certifies why Greece is my go to place to visit in Europe. Upon arrival I felt as if I had died and gone to heaven. I cannot emphasise enough how idyllic the beach and sea is here. The boats that float here appear to be suspended in the air as the clarity of the water makes it difficult to distinguish where the sea meets the sky. After a three hour boat trip around Paxos, swimming in the blue caves and soaking up the islands beauty, our last stop was here - and didn't they save the best till last. After a little walk across a makeshift rock jetty - I sensibly wore trainers which was a dream - you get onto the bleached pebble and white sand beach. Don't be put off by the pebbles, there are sunbeds available and you don't get sand in every area of your bag and body. If you have a snorkel there is not much marine life to see however it's worth a little paddle around the rocks nearer the cliffs. If you have a GoPro you will not get a clearer underwater picture anywhere else so it is definitely worth taking. I regret going here on our last day, I would have loved to have revisited this nirvana at least a couple of times. So, Bon Voyage!

travelled by boat from corfu to paxos/antipaxos to see blue caves and stopped of here for a swim the water is so clear in photos it looks like the boats are hovering in mid air!!! well worth the visit :-)

Lovely turquoise water and a strip of soft white sand, but still have the large pebbles which are so uncomfortable to sit on or walk on. Spoilt it a little, but still a lovely place. Worth a visit. Also we ate lunch in the Taverna set back from the beach which was very nice and not bad value for money.

Like Greece NOWHERE! Just rent a hoat from Paxos and make the tour of the island, go to Voutoumi beach to enjoy green sea water and then go to Antipaxos to feel how it is being alone and sea only blue everywhere..

Voutoumi is really like paradise, there is no way you will not fall in love with this beach! I went to Paxos this summer (August 2013) with friends and Antipaxos (where Voutoumi is) is an absolute must to visit when you go to Paxos or even from other places nearby as there are boats to Voutoumi from Corfu, Paxos and Syvota. Antipaxos is only a tiny island with 60 or so permanent residents so there are no hotels or places to stay, you just visit from the other places. The boats from Paxos leave every morning from Gaios and it's really easy to get on one and spend the day in Antipaxos, plus you can return with any of the boats that does the 15 min boat trip and they tell you when the times are to go and come back so you can plan your day accordingly. Alternatively, it is a great idea to rent a boat (if you can) and get there at whatever time you prefer and spend as much time you want. The waters are amazing and the white sand in the beach and in the seabed gives that impression that boats are floating on air! there are also rocks around and it's really worthwhile exploring the underwater even with a snorkeling mask. There is a tavern just behind the beach which is really nice and there is also another one on top, where you get the amazing views; bear in mind though that you have to go up quite a few stairs to go up but the fantastic view and relaxed feeling you get is most definitely worth it (plus it's good exercise!). I would suggest the one on the beach is better for food and Bella Vista on top for coffee and the view.I went there quite a few times while in Paxos, really fell in love with the place and still looking at the pictures with nostalgia. Hope to visit again as it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been!

A visit to Voutoumi beach is a must if you are on Anti Paxos. The sand is wonderful and the sea crystal clear and so blue.Take the steps up to the restaurant/taverna high up on the cliffs for a simply glorious view.Definitely a sight we will remember for a long long time.

We rented a boat for a few days in Corfu and Paxos and visited many bays, without a doubt this beach is outstanding. But beware the visiting boat trips that visit every half an hour disgorging hundreds of young people admittedly enjoying themselves but slightly intrudes on your peaceful anchorage! Lovely taverna up 156 steps but worth the trek.

You have to go to Anti Paxos. Water taxis leave Gaios approx every half hour and cost 10 euros per person. In 15 mins you arrive at a tiny island with the most exquisite clear turquoise water and white sand. They say it rivals the Carribean and it is true, you feel like you are on a deserted tropical island. There are no shops so take plenty of water. We were on Voutoumi beach ( where taxi stopped first) there are two Tavernas and no sunbeds or umbrellas - which feels a bit more natural! The first Taverna is on top of the hill with magnificent views and the other Taverna set back in the trees. We had lunch at the latter place which was tasty and reasonably priced, but I found a wasp head in my salad after I was half way through. To this day I do not know if I consumed the other half of the wasp or if some other lucky customer did - but hey, its extra protein and understandable as it is a hot place with insects everywhere and they get into everything! But then my friend discovered a piece of metal cleaning scourer in her corgette croquets....which is not extra protein....Anyway, there is another Taverna at the next beach Vrika (where the taxi stops next, literally 2 minutes over the next cove by boat or a 20 minute walk) which has sunbeds and umbrellas if you would like those and people appear to have given that Taverna good reviews as a place to eat.We stayed for 5 hours and it was truly amazing. In september there was only about another 12 couples on the beach so it feels very private and secluded. Thoroughly recommend!
