We liked the atmosphere of this old house very nicely redecorated and the situation near the harbour and in the center of the old town of Parikia.

Amazing monastiry in the center of Paroikia! Is it 99 or 100 doors? you should go there on eastern! Try to see a ceremony!

A museum church with a lot of things to see!Panayia Ekatondapiliani(the name of the church) translates into 100 gates. Dress code required.Beautiful!

It is worth seeing this cathedral, and its history! It is worth reading about it, getting a brochure at the store. Without that, you are lost. There are not too many explanation signs. Even more significative is attend a mass there, with the sun going through the windows and hitting the stones on the wall. Subliminar and Divine experience!

Avoid school days! A museum church with a lot of things to see, just avoid days when schools visit because you cannot enjoy it!

We poked around this church first established in 325 AD and loved learning about its connection to Constantine. As a Christian, the site had relevance for us, and architecturally, it is beautiful inside and out.

Worthwhile seeing but remember it isn't just a tourist attraction. It is the locals' church for worshipping. Dress modestly.

The cathedral is quite enchanting. It is worth going to see the Ecclesiastical Collection of the Byzantine Museum first which is situated on the right hand side as you enter the cathedral. There are many icons and relics in the small museum and most are in excellent condition. Your entrance fee to the museum also includes a visit to the baptism chambers. The cathedral is large and gives one a good impression of what it must have been like to attend a service many centuries ago. Also make sure you pop your head into the small bedroom chamber of one of the clerics. It feels very spiritual. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in Paroikia.

Very interesting for architecture and icons. Worth it to pay 2 euros for the museum ( not very impressive), because that includes admission to the upstairs of the church, from which you can see behind some of the doors, and also to the 4th century baptistry below.
