As you will understand from your first day on Koufonisi, all their beaches have the same characteristic. They are incredible. You think that you are swimming in a pool. Bahames will jealous of Koufonisia for sure. Pick Italida if you want less families and more young people. Is the very close to the town and you can even walk up to there (appr 15 minutes walk) However there is no Bar/Cafe in Italida so bring a bottle of water with you

Having walk a few seconds from the Fanos bay, you will enjoy great clear Aegean water, privacy (depends of the season) and wind protection. Avoid to put your staff close to the water, since the Hi-speed produces a tsunami every time passes to the port.

One of the best sandy beaches with crystal clear water!! You will hardly find many people around as there is no beach bar, tavernas, chairs and umbrellas on the spot.If you wish to have a snack or water, make sure you get it at Fanos or Finikas beach, the ones before Italida.

Italida used to be a naturist beach in the 1990's. Then in the 2000's it became a 50% nudist beach. Today, it is clothes optional in June, July and September but in August the only nudists you'll find will be early in the morning (before 10). It is a beautiful little beach with crystal clear waters and natural beauty. If you want to enjoy the beauty of it however, go in June, early July or Late September.

This beach is popular but it is not the best. Of course we are talking for high level beaches! but the best is Pori!

Really liked Italida, is big and sandy (like all Koufonissi beaches of course). Friendly (has a beach bar) and -again like all Koufonissi beaches- you need to bring your umbrella -no rented chaise longs or umbrellas on the island in any beach, thank god... In my opinion the second best beach in the island after Pori. Super clean, you can choose it when there is strong wind in the island, since it's location usually is protected so you don't have to suffer the sand-attack.

One of the most beautiful beaches of the Aegean Sea. The sand is clean and you will really like lie on it. The water is clean and a little bit cold, having a really nice color. You have τo bring your own sea tent if you do not want to stay all the time under the sun. There are also nice small bays around that you might want to visit. It may be really crowded during August.

This is a beach where you can enjoy probably the cleanest and crystal water in Cyclades. Arriving by the small boat departing every hour sharp from the port and in 10 minutes you are there, then you need to find your corner, try to find a secret one, if you walk after the main beach, you will find a pebbles one, otherwise find your little cave for you... you should bring your umbrella otherwise you will get burnt.

Relaxing, beautiful sand and the sea is like a pool. Bring your water, food and umbrellas and stay from morning to evening. Best from early summer until mid-July because it is not a big beach and gets crowded very easily
