Greece of course is not known for its ski resorts, however if you are visiting the country during winter you can spend some time at its mountains and yes do ski!Parnassos ski resort includes Kellaria the main resort and Fterolaka a second resort which both are connected each other when the weather is good. The Resort can not be compared with the ones in Central and North Europe, however for the short period were the snow is enough you can enjoy ski and snowboard as well as snowmobile or other activities in one of the southest ski resorts in Europe. The lifts has been upgraded in Kellaria on 2014 and within 2015 will be upgraded in Fterolaka to. Always prefere (if possible) to visit resort during working days avoiding the busy weekends, in order to have the maximum of satisfaction and cheaper price!!!!

These guys, and unfortunately like many others in Greece too, shouldn't be allowed to run such a business!!!They had the Chalet full of "no smoking" signs, many visitors smoked inside nonetheless, and the owners/workers didn't mind!!!The prices were extremely high: 1 euro for a small bottle of water while the recommended price is 0.50 euros ALMOST EVERYWHERE IN GREECE!!!Unfortunately they are taking bad advantage of being the closest ski resort in Athens!!Hope they don't mind my spending my money next time in Bansko or even Austria where at least they respect their visitors...even if Greek!!!And for a week or more it could be cheaper too.Even the snow starts hating this resort! That's why it's so rare...I also agree with the rest of the reviews.

Probably not the best ski resort in Greece, not even the one with the most difficult pistes, but it is the place to go for making connections. The place used to be overcrowded as it is the closest ski resort to Athens but dut to its high price in combination with the financial crisis made it more attractive to skiers. You have to be ready to interact with rude people that want to move quick and pass you by when waiting at the lifts (we have to change the greek mentality), as the previous comment said.Expect to pay around (at least) 50 euros at least for ski rental-entrance and ski bus from Athens (return trip) if you find some kind of deal. If you really want to ski try the upper pistes and go early.

Parnassos ski center is the worse ski resort I have ever visited. We go there almost every weekend because it is the closest to us.The lifts are very old and some of them (e.i. Vachos) are completed destroyed. No maintenance work has been done the last 3 years I visit it. Even the roads that lead to the resort are full of holes. Also, the people who visit it are ill-mannered and they rarely respect the queue or they leave the chairs empty only because they want to be with their friends but they never inform in advance so that someone else passes before them. They do not even respect the fact that it is not allowed to smoke inside.
