wasn't expecting to visit here, but glad we did. we visited on a sunday and it turned out admission was free. great exhibits on history, local artifacts and modern art. def. something for everyone's taste. staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the museum. great visit.

This museum has a lovely collection of artifacts from the region (mostly Swiss locations just outside the border) but there is a great wing dedicated to the formation of the country and its royal family, as well as a wing for the things that are exported or manufactured in FL which you don't realize it extensive. TIP: Get the audio guide! Signs are all in German which we didn't know until after we'd paid and gone in etc. Think I would have learned a bit more if I wasn't trying to translate for myself.

if you would like to know about Liechtenstein, it is a must to visit Liechtenstein National Museum. museum offers lots of information about Liechtenstein. coming from royal family, industry, arts/painting ...etc. it is definitely worth to visit.

There is a lot more inside this small building than you would think! Interesting history from Roman to more recent times. A visit here will provide a great overview of Liechtenstein history, and worth the money (although I know many who found it lacking). However, if you visit on August 15 (Liechtenstein National Day) the museum is free!

Landesmuseum is certainly the best museum in Liechtenstein. It's not large but has a lot of interesting things to see including special exhibitions being hosted from time to time. Certainly worth visiting when you're in the area.

Would you like to learn about how and why Lichtenstein exists? Then this museum is for you. Fair price, sufficient size and good quality. All descriptions are in German but the museum has audio guides in English - maybe other languages too. Worth a visit.

Not much to see - don't waste your time and especially your money. Pass through the town and see Switzerland instead

This was nice and quiet for leisurely walk around. There was lots of interesting information about Liechtenstein and the temporary exhibitions were good. There isn't a lot in the permanent exhibitions in English so make sure you get the audio guide that is included in the ticket price. Also if you have a valid Swiss pass/Swiss museum pass then make sure to show it as this museum is included and you get in for free.

A nice museum to learn more about Liechtenstein and its history should you ever find yourself in that neck of the woods.

This museum shows the whole history of Liechtenstein - most interesting. We had audio guides for this part of museum. There also was a exhibition about Roman Gladiators, which was very fascinating. Here no audio guides were available nor necessary, as this display was in English and German. All in all, a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

There are some excellent exhibits. I speak adequate German and could get the gist of the labels but we were surprised that only the temp exhibits had English labels.

We had two visits here as there was too much to take in in one visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had audio accounts in English. A lovely little coffee shop / café with delicious cakes/ An honesty box was in place which was typical of the gentleness of the staff and the museum ambience.Vaduz and Liechtenstein was made more interesting to us by our visit. Definitely worthwhile!

Beautiful little museum, which is easy to lose a couple of hours in. Ask for an English language audioguide and it will greatly enhance your experience. Don't miss the nature exhibition, and the temporary exhibition on ancient Rome is phenomenal.
