Close to road incase u drive. accessible from the coast in both directions. handy little kids area on a grassy shaded area near the beach and a café. Beach shallow and although shingly , ok without special shoes. handy little booths around. very quiet at 10 am, gets busier. near a surfy type school.

One day of our stay in Mali Losinj the sun was not shining so we went for a walk and suddenly we discovered the Cikat Forest Park, that was absolutely incredible. When you go from the center of the city you go firstly through the forest itself, but after while there is a paved road along the sea and cliffs with an incredible view. You can find a lot of small beaches and there is also a camp inside the forest.

The new marina with electricity and water supply is located in a very nice bay called Cikat. The owner is very helpful and offers also diving and other water activities. Cigale restaurant next door, was also a pleasant experience!

This place is perfect for walking, swimming, and sun. There are many nice walking paths as well as places for swimming. You must have shoes for swimming because of rocks. In the water watch and stay away from small spiky black sea creatures or you will get hurt.

As I said in one of my previous reviews, when I was describing our visit ( my wife and I) to Plitvice Lakes, we were then, in 2004, also, and after the viewing Plitvice, on the island Mali Losinj. That island belongs to the group of Kvarner Islands in the nothern part of Adriatic Sea.We booked the Aurora Hotel, near the motor camp " Cikat", that is located within the beautiful thick coniferous forest. That forest is to the west from the city of Mali Losinj. What is interesting, is that Mali ( Small) Losinj town is bigger than the city to the south, called Veli (Big) Losinj.Speaking of our hotel Aurora, we ought to point out, its good location.We were very close to the beach, situated in one secluded, from the open sea ,small bay. We literally leaned on the other, as well nice hotel,named "Vespera". The beach,where we went to bathe, was formed of the stones of different size and rocks emerged from the surface of the water.Also, there were the coverings of the gravel, everywhere. That is the type of the beaches, we meet in the north of Adriatic sea, either on mainland or on the islands.Unfortunately, we have been in such period of the summer, late in august month, when swarmed with the jellyfishes, so at the times,it was quite impossible to swim or dive.Maybe, it was only that year, or I by no means, want to make some bad kind of publiciity for this beach. When I think about it, it crosses my mind, that reason for the appearance of the jellyfishes, was the warm water of the sea on this spot. I remember now, that we have gone, the other day, on the opposite side of the island to the east, on the, so called beach,Saint Martin, that looks to the mainland of Croatia. Here the temperature of the water was for some degrees lower than there by our hotel, due to the cold currents, streaming through the sea passage, between the Velebit range and the islands in this part of the sea and the winds coming from the summits of these magnificent mountains, Velebit. The outcome of the former, was the total absence of these stinging creatures, so we had a pleasant bathing on St.Martin beach.Otherwise, we made the numerous walks in the forest, to the Mali Losinj city by the bus and really had the great time on this island.

Beautiful healthy atmosphere and air, walk around near the sea and sunset to the sea......something like that you can rerly see in this area

Beautiful sea,forest and villas. Great for taking a walk.Several nice restaurants and live music. The beaches are very nice,water is crystal clear and over all the entire area is well preserved.

Camminando in questa splendida pineta dell'Ottocento, se si prende uno dei sentieri lungo la costa, si possono ammirare callette isolate, scorci di mare cristallino, piccole spiagge sassose; se si prosegue all'interno, si gode di piacevoli scoperte ad ogni curva e su tutto ci si ritempra e ristora con il profumo verde dei pini.

ganz netter Strand, im Oktober ab ca. 15:30 sehr schattig. Im Sommer während der Hochsaison sicher überfüllt.

Příjemný stinný lesík v blízkosti moře protkaný spoustou cestiček a stezek. Nic zvláštního ve střední Evropě.

Campeggio cikat. Mare stupendo e pulito. Ottima posizione per partire con il gommone verso sibenik e le altre isole.

Skøn strand og totalt lækkert vand. Mulighed for at leje liggestole og parasol til rimelig pris. Lige ved stranden er der mulighed for at leje vandscooter mm.

Лесопарк достаточно большой. Приятно прогуливаться, дышать запахом хвои. Можно пробежаться или покататься на арендованном велике. Особенно понравилась дальняя часть парка где растут молодые сосенки.

Splendido parco con sentiero tracciato che segue l'intera isola,romantico e spassoso..per amanti della natura,tramonti e non solo.consigliatissimo.

Vengo da più di 20 anni a Lussino e soggiornavo nell'hotel della baia... Era un posto selvaggio e meraviglioso, completamente immerso nel verde!Sono tornata quest'anno e sono rimasta sgomenta da come sono riusciti a rovinare la baia ristrutturando l'hotel in maniera totalmente inadeguata... Entrando nella baia dal mare si vede quest'imponente costruzione bianca e lussuosa che sovrasta tutte le antiche ville adiacenti... Inoltre hanno tolto un bel po' di alberi per garantire una vista migliore dalle camere e hanno raschiato per bene le rocce naturali per fare posto ad ombrelloni e sdrai!!! Ho notato che è spuntata anche una villa sempre sul mare super moderna... Non centra niente con il contesto!!! È uno scempio!!! La baia era già stata abbastanza rovinata dal pontile in cemento costruito qualche anno fa per fare posto alle barche... Io non ci tornerò più! Mi fa troppo male vedere tutto così rovinato solo per interessi economici e giri di soldi! Una vergogna!!!!!
