Amazing scenery and beautiful ski park!!! The weather was cool and we enjoyed every moment. The ski packages are also very affordable compared to the western countries

Been there this winter, a beautiful park I will never forget. The park is 7 km from the bus stop to reach the rocks... so the entire visit you will walk around 15 km! But it worths the effort. There was a lot of snow when I visited it, made it harder but more beautiful too!

We went with the chairlift to the top of the ski resort , went all the way through the fantastic scenario with cliffs and rocks. We wnt all 14 km form one end to the other and took the bus back to the ski resort .You have to pay for the chairlift to the top

Stolby National Park is a sanctuary of peace and quiet outside of Krasnoyarsk- You need to walk for about 90 mins to reach the Stolby's. The Stolby are giant Rocks that have great views from the top! A whole day excursion! Worth the walk to the top- Mainly local tourists visit but a really great place to go! Very limited toilet facilities- so be aware of this! Highly recommended!

went to krasnoyarsk for a break from transsiberian, mostly to see this national park. paths are easy and well marked for the most part, and the walk from the road to the actual stone features is actually quite nice. ended up going with a tour set up by SibTourGuide, though you could easily do it on your own by bus. but Liza was a great tour guide and it was nice to hear some stories about the park and the area. didn't see or climb around on all of the rocks because of the snow, but that's what i get for visiting in spring.great day trip, don't miss it if you're in krasnoyarsk.

Stolby is a miracle of nature.Чистый воздух, хвойный лес. A leisurely walk youth and older people walking through the Park, climbing up the hill. And that's before them appear pillars Grandfather, Feathers and other. Someone climbs up on poles, someone judges near the foot. The beauty around.

Amazing views, beautiful wildlife, really felt like we had arrived in Siberia in this place. Recommend getting a guide so you get to see all the formations in one day. It's quite a climb up there so consider this if you aren't in your peak of fitness or have dodgy knees/hips.

First of all, this place is for those who like nature and are in normal shape. You should plan a complete day for this and lots of walking. The variety of rock formations and the primeval feeling here is simply amazing. The legend says that the rocks were formed when giants threw them around in previous ages. There are 2 ways to see it but almost no one has seen everything. By taking the ski resort, you can see, what I call "lower Stolby". You'll take the ski lift and probably won't see as many rocks, but it's a bit easier and you can see "Takmak" which is the big rock seen from almost anywhere in Krasnoyarsk. The 2nd way ("upper Stolby' as I call it) is by walking up (about 8 km) to the 1st, 2nd rocks etc. This way is more difficult but you will probably see more rocks as they're closer together here. In the main area of Stolby there are more than 35 rock formations including upper and lower but you won't be able to see all. Most people manage 6 a day at most. However, with careful planning and a guide or map, and not going at a leisurely pace, you could see more. I feel that Stolby is an absolute must see for those visiting Krasnoyarsk. It's my favorite place and a great place to have a picnic lunch; in summer or winter. Of note, they have done some major upgrading of the facilities since I was last there.

September, it should be the most beautiful season to visit this national park. It is the best place to have pick nick in Krasnoyarsk. Many local families, students, and couples are visiting there but it is like secret place for foreigners. I was very lucky to have chance to visit this place while I'm a Japanese.

The K2 funicular ride is breathtaking. Panaoramic views of the city and mountainsides. Up top there is a bar, tea house, walking paths, and delicious shiskabob grill. The amusements and rollercoaster are great for kids. We spent several hours taking in the views and people watching.

Stolby Rock Mountains reserve park with forests really great place to visit. You will feel a very strong emotions when you climbed to the one of the "stolb" rock hills and will see a wonderful Siberian landscape which impressed you deeply! It's an UNESCO heritage site. Ideal place for sport active tourism! Please prepare light jacket in case of rain/wind, comfort pants and shoes for long distance walking and climbing to up way. Also take a lunch-box and drinks with you in case don't find appropriate food and long heavy trip. 3-4 hours is approximate tour to "Stolby" natural park.
