There isn't any snow when I was there.View got a little bored after 30 minutes into the hike as scenes repeated itself.Probably my opinions would be different if there was snow.

We have no experience with snow and skiing. We had our first class the day before. 3 out 6 dropped out skiing. Therefore we decided to go for Piedras Blancas. Greate decision. We all had a great time. First, you need to arrange transportation. We called them and they picked up us in our rented house and paid in the van. Be aware that you need to pay everything in cash here (as many things in Bariloche and Argentina): transportation, tickets, food, photos. Then you need to pay the entrance in cash too. The best tip I can give you for you to have the time of your life using the sleds. Check the bottom has no hole filled with ice. For the ticket you get 3 rides up in the chairs. I tried 3 trips down the hill making a lot of effort to move. But my wife was going pretty fast. Then I changed the sled and voila !!!...it was really amazing…I was a kid againg…great, great, great !!!...we wanted to do the zipline too but we did not have enough time given by the transportation, we found out later that in advance we had to arrange that…anyway…it was great…enjoy…!!!

We went hiking here our first day in Bariloche. The trail is poorly maintained, dusty and steep. Decent view from the ridge. We did not hike all the way to the coffee shop on top.

If you have kids, got for it. Hint: at the ticket sales they tell you kids below 5 can only stay at the bottom at "kids yard", but we saw 3-4 years old down hill either on parents' lap or by themselves with parents holding the seldge handle once in a while. Thus, buy your 3 yrs old kid a round trip (they have 6 downhill, but I guess 4 would be enough for the grown ups! it is exaustive!). Also think the Kodak's photographers are worth. Paid 40 bucks (USD) for 5 wonderful printed pictures (with snowman, San Bernardo dog, and 3 amazing downhill pictures!)

if you are going to Bariloche and your kids haven't ski in their whole life it would be good to have at least one day for Piedras Blancas. they will love it. Because different from ski or snowboard they will slide fast on their first downhill.the place doesn't seems to be very organized as there was a long line, no information on prices and sets. anyway my kids loved it.280 pesos for 6 lifts for adults and 180 pesos for kids.

It was really Fun doing 'culiparin', The little kids have a good time and some of adults too. I would recommend you to take an extra pair of teousers because The ones you'll be wearing will wet.

Maybe I was unlucky but there were huge lines and lots of mud. The place is nice and with a lot of snow would probably be nice!

This place is way over priced with nothing to do, I wonder are all the negative reviews yanked off here, or does no one take the time to let people know the truth about places to visit while in Bariloche. You can do tons of things with out paying exsorbant amounts to tour guides and lifts, etc. Rent a car, and drive around! But this park is tiny and over priced, go to the other one Cerro Cathedral for sking and stuff. oh and you have to pay cash for everything here!

Piedras Blancas is a snow park where you can do Trineos at 5 or 6 different slopes. It is located on the top of Cerro Otto next to downtown. Many people think it has a connection with the rotary restaurant at the top of the same mountain, but it does not have!It is a very funny place and I recommend you to go on the winter. There are basic ski lessons but I don't recommend to do that because the are for skiing is not so big. Cerro Catedral would be better to learn. It is only to do Trineos!Beware 1!!! They don't accept credit cards there so you have to take lots of money to pay the entrance. I would say that it is better to buy vouchers with your hotel or travel agent, they usually costs the same and you can pay by Credit Card.Beware 2!!! The cabs can climb the hill for approximately ARG $35 from Bariloche downtown. There are some taxi drivers who will charge ARG $70 or ARG $80 to do that. For returning back it even worst! I would recommend you to schedule the return with the taxi driver or grab his personal card or you may have to pay lots of money to go down the hill. When I went to the park there was this man (I would say "mafioso") that were obligating all people and all taxi drivers to charge lots of money. He went after me and my friends when we said the fixed price to downtown were very expensive.
