While researching things to do in Iguazu I stumbled upon this Buddhist temple it was honestly one of the highlights of my time in Brazil. We stayed about an hour and admired the scenery and great statues. It was raining but that didn't take away from the experience at all it was simply beautiful. The peaceful atmosphere and lovely statues made for a perfect visit for a yogi like myself!

I have travelled extensively in Asia and was curious to see a Buddhist temple in Brazil. It was interesting. If you have some extra time on the way to/from the Itaipu dam I recommend to stop for a visit.

The temple is Situated away from the the town.So take a taxi there and tell them to wait for you.About 30 to 40 mins is enough unless you want to meditate. There quite a few statues and small shop and rest rooms.

It's a beautiful place to visit. There are a lot of statuary indoor and outdoor. There is also a small gift shop. It should have more information about what everything means.

It is a peaceful place to go and visit for the length of 1-2 hours maximum. It is far way so it is better go by car. Buses in Brasil are chaotic.I would return there for sure.

It's worth visiting. 1-2 hours is more than enough to see everything. There are few places like this one in South America. It's a little far from the center though. We took a bus, but we had to ask the locals where to get off. Taking a bus in Brazil is often like riding a roller coaster. Take a cab if you want more comfort.

It is a quick visit to a relaxing and quite place. It is located out of the way but if you are in a car, or you have enough days to expend in the city definitely it is a place you cannot miss.

It's worth to see , but keep in mind that it may not be a good idea to walk there all the way from the city center as we did. Take a cab and enjoy your trip :D

I took the city bus from the terminal (I had thought I could walk there -- really glad I didn´t try that!). It was a good place to visit -- all the Buddhas, lots of birds, quiet and lovely.

Good to have a look at this rare buddhist temple of brazil. Better to get there by taxi, the main onibus road is far away from the temple.

Nice little tranquil stop, worth the side trip if you go visit the dam. Some nice Buddas and other statues. Good for about an hour.

This is a very open space with lots of statues. Very calm atmosphere - a ceremony was in place and we could hear the mantras from far.

This Buddhist temple is in a nice location on a hill overlooking Paraguay a few minutes outside of Foz do Iguazu. The grounds are nice and well-maintained, and the large statues are impressive. A good place to spend 15-20 minutes.
