My partner and I were recommended Charlie's Bar by a fellow traveller and we were not disappointed! It had a great atmosphere and very cool decor. Charlie was also extremely friendly and recommended some fantastic Colombian beers! Well worth a visit if your in the area!

Love the outdoor seating, giant he ha and happy hours... The mojito's are real Cuban style, reminds me of Miami :) and the owner Charlie made my whole table feel welcome, playing every round of Giant Jenga with us, in between serving his full bar of guests somehow! Of course he could have let me win though haha

This was by far my favorite bar that I went to on my trip to Colombia! The atmosphere is incredible and the drink specials are amazing. Charlie was very friendly and ensured that our whole group had a fantastic time. I would strongly recommend this bar to both visitors and locals. Can't wait to go back!!

Charlie's Bar and Grill is a must if you find yourself in beautiful Santa Marta! Great drinks, great food, but most important, good people make this place wonderful. Charlie, the owner, has so much energy and passion for this bar and meeting the world travelers. His enthusiasm will be evident in all aspects of your visit. Swing by for a drink and you may find yourself staying in Santa Marta for a few extra days…salud!

Charlie's is a great place to chill and have a cold beer or mixed drink. Delicious Mojitos are a specialty. Just off the Parque de los Novios. Close enough to still be around the action but just far enough away to feel some breathing room. Funky old furniture mixed with modern. I was lucky to get the red velvet love seat when I was there. Charlie loves to dance and if you hang around long enough he might invite you to join him. Great music and mix of people. Very relaxed. The place to meet fellow travelers.

Looking for a stylish bar to chill and grab some tasty cocktails then head to Charlie's Bar and Grill. Great venue, friendly staff and centrally located in the Zona Rosa. It's a great place to pass the night with friends and meet the locals and travellers from all around.

Had a fantastic time hanging out at Charlie´s and would definitely recommend it to everyone between backpackers, the party crowd, or even those just looking for a cool place to get dinner. The environment was really laid back and I even got to hang out with the owner and staff, all of whom were really cool and shared my love of travel. The music was great, too, and Charlie´s is the one-stop bar for the evening and late into the night, especially for the international crowd. Swing by if you are in town and see what its about and hit up the drink specials.. you won´t regret it!

Charlie's was a great time. It's a local bar where Charlie the owner was there recommending drinks, talking with us and making our night there all the more special. He definitely helps make the place what it is. The night was nice and we sat outside. The music was great. I would definitely check it out.

When I was in Colombia I went to Charlie's Bar every night. Great drinks, authentic food, live music, and always an energetic crowd. Recommended for both travelers and locals for a great night out!

I only had one night to spend in Santa Marta and I was staying a few blocks away from this place -- the decor was amazing, the atmosphere was super chill, drinks were cheap and it turned out to be a great night because Charlie (aka the owner) was actually there hanging out with us! Definitely recommend.

Easy to find, great service, good atmosphere and strong drinks- exactly how I like my bars! Owner was there and told some great stories AND turns out he was a Peace Corps volunteer too! Would definitely recommend!

Charlies is my favorite place to hang out in Santa Marta. There are always such beautiful people and such great music there, and Charlie is the friendliest guy I've ever met. You should all try the Jarra -- good alone, but best shared with friends, new or old.
