This place is amazing. It was my favorite meal during the 4 day/3 night Tren Crucero. The food was absolutely beautiful and delicious, and the hacienda itself was stunning. The owner and staff were warm, inviting, and engaging. The mango ceviche and the sea bass especially stand out in my mind. We will be making a reservation and returning to this amazing Hacienda when we return to Ecuador.

My stay at Hacienda La Danesa was a memorable one. First most, the hospitality and commodities are outstanding. The food was fresh and exquisite. The activities are well planned and neatly organized. The experience truly immerses you in the culture and heritage of its pioneers while being surrounded by breathtaking views and animal fauna. All of it without sacrificing comfort. It's a MUST go!!!! you'll be left wanting more :)

I ejoyed visiting Hacienda La Danesa. The host is a great man, very attentive with his visitors. You'll find everything you need to fullfill your needs of learning about local cultural heritage, food, wine and agrobusiness. Great for kids, family trips and every kind of foreign aventurer.

We visited La Danesa Estates for lunch in a special New Year's weekend with friends. Our host Nicky, received us with a warm welcoming approach, in a pleasant and well decorated country -high end- style with taste and the beautiful sight seen. The personal Chef, waited us serving a delicious exotic salad with avocado and mango slices, followed by a tender local fish on a sweet delicate plantain puree with a touch of avocado salsa. We enjoyed the company of friends while sipping fresh homemade Naranjilla fruit juice. We also enjoyed espresso with Chocolate dessert.We lounged until late afternoon enjoying the view, horseback riding and the company. A memorable weekend.

Fazenda histórica fundada nos fines do século 19 por imigrantes da Dinamarca. Muito bem estruturada e conservada pelos descendentes dos fundadores. Visitada pelo grupo de turistas do Tren Crucero (Ferrocaril Equadoriano) apresenta grupos de danças folclóricas equatorianas, visitação a plantação de cacau, suas instalações, e um farto almoço.

Es una hermosa hacienda en la que podes pasar un hermoso dia con diferentes actividades de campo y disfrutar de un almuerzo con productos locales. Muy recomendable.
