Came here on a day of visiting wineries in the region. Without a doubt was the best we went to on all accounts. The wine was beautiful, something for all tastes, the Pinot Grigio is beautiful. The setting is amazing, have a platter for lunch and the service was also great. I thoroughly recommend it!

Do not miss Single File if you get to Denmark. We finally made it here on our last day after being told by a few people to go.WE LOVED THIS PLACE and wish we'd made it sooner! The wines are excellent (without a doubt the best we tried on this trip), the scenery as pretty as a picture. Apart from the wine, the winning element about Single File was the friendliness of the owner, who took us through our wine tasting. The host often helps make a place and she is testament to that - warm, familiar and so accommodating. This place is top class. We didn't have time to eat but can't wait to get back in the winter when everything is even more green and spend a good long afternoon lunch perched on the hill overlooking the ducks and lake and enjoying their wine. Thank you for being wonderful.

This was a bit of a surprise for us, as we hadn't heard much about this winery, despite living in Albany.All the wines are excellent, although some are a little expensive. Equivalent quality wines are cheaper at Dukes, although here you have the opportunity for a light lunch.The winter menu is limited, however it is more than made up for in quality, service and the great views and grounds. One thing that did peeve me was the use of bland Turkish dried apricots on the cheese platter. When questioned about this the staff said Australian apricots were too expensive! Give me a break. $30 to $50 for a bottle of wine and you can't spend an extra 50 cents on a few high quality Australian produce? This really detracted from the excellent local cheese and the quality of the wine. Shame! This is typical of much of the WA service industry. If you want to charge high end prices get the whole package right !!!
