Cheyne's Beach is a hidden gem on the South Coast of Western Australia. There is abundant marine life, school's of dolphins, crystal clear water, a surf break and a protected swimming area for the kids. The environment is rugged and perfect for off road 4WD, off road bikes and ATV's. Fishing is great straight off the beach or from a boat. There are public toilets and one small general store, but you need to bring just about everything you need. It is around 45 minutes out of Albany, but well worth the trip.Summer is the nicest time to visit as there isn't too much sea weed, a local told me that other times of the year the beach can be covered with sea weed.
