We stumbled across the little place on our self-drive tour around Margaret River with our family visiting from the UK and what a gem! We entered at, probably, an inconvenient time as a bus load had just arrived and were doing tastings with the owner or boss. However, we were greeted with a friendly smile from the cafe. A very happy, smily lady who looked a bit nervous at the start as we were quite a loud bunch! She told us about the guys doing the tasting with the other people but offered her assistance. She told us all about the liquors on the wall and offered to do a tasting with us. She was a great host and the family thoroughly enjoyed her knowledge. I was rather entertained with the cute dog wondering around but she was very professional and generally a lovely person! She later spoilt us with bread and olives before we ordered our lunch. Unfortunely, it was one of our last stops and me and my partner loved the liquor but wouldn't drink it, so we disn't buy anything - i still feel terrible because she did such a great job!!Well done Ella, your a star! To whoever reads this, if you get a chance to do a tasting with her, then do!!!

Visited the brewery March 2015 when travelling from Busselton to Margaret River. What a hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. For $7 AUD you can taste 3 liquors and then a small cocktail is made for you. Wow how nice were they. Hubby tasted several boutique beers. Unfortunately they were not doing brewery tours the day we were there. We were given a FREE gourmet pizza to try which was one of the best pizza's I have ever tasted, it even had gin aioli on it. The coffee shop was great, we tried the homemade scones YUM. Well worth a visit to this place. There is also a chocolate factory and nougat shop near by.

We visited Grove Experience to do some tasting of their liquors. The lady who helped us with the tasting was very knowledgeable and she also taught us how to make some cocktails from her liquors. We tasted about 8 straight liquors, 8 cocktails made out of those liquors and two cocktails and all were very good. In spite of the place being busy, the lady managed to give us personal attention. Next time, I will tastes the beers in this place.

This particular spot in Margaret River was the highlight of our day wine tour of the region. The owner kept us entertained with jokes and very nice tastings.

I love this place - best visit in Margaret river!!! Not just for their beautiful products but also for their very wonderful entertaining banter with Steve! I notice a couple of negative reviews on here! All I have to say is come here with an open mind and a sense of humor or don't bother! Everything is in good fun but if you're prudish then it might not be the place for you! Also don't go on wine tours if all you're wanting is a p**s up! Thanks Steve for another great experience! See you again next time.

Dropped in at the Grove at random, having never heard of it before, and was blown away by the range of unique spirits on offer! And the tasting was more than a tasting - their staff went through their process and options in detail, even mixing cocktails on the spot. Walked away with a few bottles (love the Macadamia and Coffee liqueurs!)

We booked one of the houses that they have within the vineyard and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The Bungalow is secluded, nestled just on the edge of the bush but hidden from view from the other two houses that can be rented. The Bungalow was great and had everything that we would have needed for a weekend away. The Bungalow has an outdoor spa and it was great sitting outside listening to the birds chirping away. It was all so peaceful. We walked down to the cellar door and Steve and his team could not have been any more helpful if they had tried. They specially cooked us a pizza even through the kitchen was closed. Steve took the time out to stand and have a beer with us which made us feel really welcome. We loved it and would definitely return.

Having visited The Grove on a wine tour recently and being throughly entertained by Steve (great sense of humor) and the crew there, we were blown away by the vast range of liqueurs and cocktails we sampled so much we even had to make a second trip back and the experience was even better the second time around. The vast knowledge and the service we received was sensational and now this will be a regular stop for us on our future trips down south.

I've been coming to the grove for ten years. And always look forward to seeing Steve. He is always warm exciting and funny. Steve is the owner. He is Australian and he enjoys what he does. I am also Australian and I thoroghlu enjoy Stevens banter and I've come to expect it and to be honest it keeps me coming. Steve and his team have made some of the best liquors, rum and port I've ever had. The blends are brilliant and unexpected and the atmosphere is warm. When visitng the grove, please go with an open mind and heart. It's different in a lot of ways especially if you've just come from a swanky winery down the road. As I say. I've been coming for ten years and I'll continue to come and bring my friends and family. Well done Steve!

Loved the whole experience the crocs the drop bears & the little dog that came to welcome us! So many things to choose - it makes a refreshing change from the wineries - melon vodka & raspberry liquor were my favourite - think I'll get the butterscotch & coconut the next time. Staff are lovely too

Great setting, with some funny quirks like crocs in the water, love the ale, found the house ale really good, liked it better than eagle farm, and cheeky money. Very friendly and helpful staff, the liqueurs were very nice, with some interesting flavours, cafe enjoyable all up very good place to stop off, don't miss this one off your list of to do things in Margaret river area

After making a special stop with my friend from the UK, we were left very disappointed. The older man behind the bar was raising his voice and making sexist comments at a separate group of people on the decking area. This created a very tense environment. This same man was also very rude to me when I asked for a chilli vodka tasting. Perhaps The Grove need to review who is representing their company.
