Awesome staff they were very welcoming young Irish and Canadian girls. Food was awesome, room was clean, and kids loved it there was even a kids play area in the back beer garden. would defiantly recommend this place if your passing through.

We visited this pub for lunch and the kids were blown away by the actual pub building, it's really fun! The meals took a while to come out considering we were the only customers at the time and they were just your standard pub grub, no better no worse, however the location and the friendliness of the staff makes up for any food shortcomings. My 10 year old declared the pub to be the best in the world.....

Don't know where the last reviewer was eating, but it wasn't the same as us. The only way to describe the food was less than average. I wouldn't Rush to eat there. We actually stayed overnight and at least the room was somewhat clean, but I would stay there again anytime soon. At least the staff were friendly.

We visit our friends in Cunderdin every year and stay at the motel rooms attached to the Ettamogah Pub. We don't have great expectations for a small country pub, but this visit will be our last. Two other couples stayed in rooms also. Two rooms cost $100, and the other room cost $80 but there were two adults in each room, so that was odd. When we entered our room the hand towel in the bathroom was tatty, torn and stained. There was a used soap bar in the sink, cobwebs everywhere and only one towel. We returned to the pub and were given a new hand towel and extra bath towel.Later that night we went back to our room and I opened the bar fridge which was switched off and full of mould. You know what happens when a fridge is switched off and the door kept shut? It was disgusting and I wouldn't put anything inside it. It was late so we went to bed. We went in the morning to return the key and share our experience but the pub was shut and no one around. We left the key in the room and departed. A backpackers or caravan park would probably be more comfortable and for $100 its not good value or worth it. Country pubs don't have to be perfect or 4star, but at least a clean room, with basic hygiene taken into account would be expected.

This place is unbelievably bad! The room I had was filthy dirty. There was an empty alcohol can on the window ledge in the shower, the screen around the window was torn and had been covered over with tape but the tape was all hanging off. The walls were filthy dirty as was the carpet. I had dinner at the pub and ordered chicken parmigiana - got the chicken and some chips - no veg or salad. Staff were very laid back and not at all welcoming.

Pub looks ok - but does seem a bit out of place in a small country town. Did not go into pub as travelling with small kids.
