Dad and I arrived at the Briery Estate only to find a nice house at the end of the road. I stopped to ask if I was in the right place and found 2 friendly dogs leading the way into the house where we were greeted warmly by Christine who was happy to let us taste their lovely wines and chat about the area. She also gave us a few tips about the area, which was much needed advice as most of the hidden gems here apparently were not online. If you've got children, the dogs will definitely keep them entertained with a game of fetch. We ended up getting their Muscat Liqueur and Vorigerns Folly as we love our sweet wines.

I haven't actually made a trip out to the Winery yet but had the opportunity to taste the wines at the Taste of Chittering, held at the Lower Chittering Hall and Village Green. Friendly, informative service and 'fresh' wines.

A lovely homely cellar door with views of the surrounding vineyard (just like the photo). The owners have some grape varieties from Hungary which make some different tasting wines. Nice rose and dessert wines.
