Thank you for your comments, we take these very seriously. Not sure what you were looking for, as we have the story and photographs of the founding of the area, pioneers stories, stories about the padldesteamers and general commerce, of the early era.We would be interested to hear further from you.

Thank you for your feedback, not sure where you got the information re longevity of the buildings on site but we want to assure you that these buildings are going nowhere, and in fact we hope to have funding shortly to bring the cells up to a decent standard and do some necessary repairs to the main building. Echuca Historical Society is now (since 2013) the Committee of Management for this building and council has nothing to do relative to the building. In fact council has been very supportive of the society for many years. As we are an official Place of Deposit we expect to gain more documents/information from council when the Privacy Act allows. I do hope this allays your fears.

Thank you for your feedback. We are presently considering what more we can do in relation to 'police station' information, as we are unable to tell 'prisoner' stories (we don't have them), the building information is on a plaque at the front entrance, and the police exhibit in the old cell tells what stories we do have.

There is nothing to dislike about this place. Everyone who visits Echuca Moama should visit this place.

The exhibits at the former police station were excellent, but many of the photos were hard to see and read, because they were hung high up in narrow passage ways.

This was a great education about one of the most important areas of Australia, the Port of Echuca sits right on the great Murray River and there is still a lot of history surviving in the town as well as the Port. A very special place.
