Main Street is a very good collection of specialty shops, restaurants, coffee shops and cafe's. There are enough coffee shops to try a different one each day for a month. There are some good restaurants and also some that are very average. Overall it is a very pleasant street that leads down to the beach and pier. There is generally adequate parking behind the shops both sides. It is worth a visit

Main St Mornington is just the best shopping ever!!!! The shops here do tend to turnover quite a bit as from all accounts the rent is outrageous. There is something here for everyone, beautiful clothes, furniture and home wares, gift shops, florists, art, lots and lots of coffee shops and restaurants. If you start at the beach end and work your way up one side and then down the other you will fill a whole day and quite possibly max out that credit card!!!! Great girls day out.

Main street is a nice walk for window shopping starting at Woolworths and walking down to the beach past the usual set of main street shops like Australia Post, Dick Smith, Police, Toy, boutiques, Salvation army, ANZ Bank, Cinemas, bakery's, coffee, subway and some landmark restaurants. Behind main street is a Shopping complex.

you can find whatever you want or need or even don't need! Lol. Plenty of women's shops, jewellery, knickknacks, collectibles, coffee shops and bakeries. We loved our strolls down Main every day while we stayed in Mornington. One street with it all!

Lovely stroll down the Main Street , fresh produce amongst artifacts etc, with some good Op shops in the street to distract you as well.

I still don't know why they haven't closed the road down from Barkly St down. They could put little shops down the middle. It's alway busy down Main st and just nice to walk up and down

Excellent fish & chips shop in the middle of the strip, along with great clothing stores, cafes, shoe and specialty shops galore. Worth the drive!

The Rose garden is looked after by volunteers and they do a wonderful job. The display of rose varieties is amazing and it is a lovely walk around to look and smell the roses. the rotunda is a nice touch to be able to sit and admire the view or take a picnic.Worth a visit while in Mornington.

Lots of great restaurants and cafes. Don't forget to walk down to the beach, the pier or at least lookout over the bay from the cliffs by the park.

Lovely feel to this street & town, and the beautiful beach at the end of Main Street makes for a perfect day out. A variety of good cafés, pubs & restaurants to suit many tastes & budgets. Lovely boutiques , home decor, and jewellery shops, beauty and hairdressers. On Wednesdays there is a huge street market where all products are home-made. Lovely day out especially in the warmer months where you can enjoy the magnificent beach & picnic area literally at the end of the street.
