Visited here in February. Walked to the top of the falls. Had a lovely trip. An easy walk to the bottom of the falls, and then a slightly more energetic climb up to the top of the falls. Views are spectacular. About 11/2 hrs with plenty of stops. The falls are also lit, but I didn't have an opportunity to visit after dark. Maybe next time.

It's worth the visit. It's a short walk from the parking lot but for those who are keen hikers there is a route to walk up to the top. It's one of the easy & level walk for whose who has mobility problem too. Great for family outing.

We did the Keppel lookout trail, which starts near Marysville and works it's way around to the top of Stevensons falls. Lovely countryside and the walk was a bit of a challenge. Make sure to take plenty of water and good shoes as it is a 4 hour hike. Or you can do the short walk up to the top of the falls but it is less rewarding.

Loved the ferns and plants a beautiful walk around 8kms starting from the Information Centre. The falls are well worth a visit.

of course if you visit Marysville you must go and check out Steavensons Falls , There is nothing like the sight of cascading water flowing down over rocks .

A short walk from the car park (which is only a few minutes from the town) to see one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Victoria

This is a cracking waterfall in a beautiful setting recovering from huge fire in 2009. There is a wide, open, mostly flat and wheelchair accessible pathway up to the base of the falls and a more strenuous twisting climb up to the lookout at the top. Once you have visited the falls it is worth a look around the museaum at the Marysville visitor centre to see the pictures from the aftermath of the fire. It is absolutely unbelievable how the plants in the area have regenerated.

Beautiful water falls. Great place to go for a walk. Early morning is probably my favourite time to go.

Since the fires this has had a transformation in more ways than one. The regeneration of the land is fantastic and good to see, it's now easier to get to the falls with the car park now at the falls. It is worth doing one of the many walks from the falls and the walk to the top of the falls is worth doing, it's not too steep but the track can be a little uneven under foot so care should be taken. It would be good to see more tourists travelling back to his area it was very quiet on our last visit.

It was lovely to see Steavenson's Falls after many years and the Black Saturday fires of 2009. The path is very easy for people that are mobility challenged. Had a lovely time and can't wait to go back again.

Had a brilliant afternoon here. We saw the falls from the base and also took the track up to the to the top, which was a bit tiring (very steep incline) but easy enough for two non-athletic people and definitely worth it.The falls are absolutely beautiful and there's a lot of wildlife around.

Steavenson's Falls car park is just a few minutes drive from the township of Marysville. From the car park there is a 350 metre walk along a well made, gently sloping track to the base of the falls. The view from the base is spectacular. There is also a track to the top of the falls. It is about an 800 metre climb along a well defined, but steep track with some uneven surfaces along the way. If you are fit, I would also recommend the walk to the top of the falls.

Family friendly walk with a nice view at the end.A extension of bush walk to the top of the fall is a good option. For the more adventurous, there is always the option to climb to the keppel lookout which is another 4+ km hike. We did a turn around after the two lookouts on the way which have a nice view of the ranges.

We have been to this waterfalls more than 10 years ago and wanted to revisit it to check it's condition after the 2009 fires. This especially crucial since the Black Saturday bush fire which had nearly wiped the whole township and left the landscape bare for several years. We went there on a warm summer day but not on a high fire danger day. It was only a short drive from the township of Marysville to the carpark and information centre complete with a well maintained toilet. The walk from the car park to the falls were well signed and level. We walked up the to the top of the fall which is a windy path along the bush land taking only about 30 minutes. Much of the trees and shrubs have regrown and there are several shady part along this climb. I would love to view this place at night and perhaps take some night photos. The floodlighting is powered by a water turbine at the foot of the falls. We only dip our hand to scoop some cool refreshing water to wash our faces but generally we are not allowed to swim or handle the water as it serves as the town water supply. The Steavenson falls are one of the tallest in Victoria, with five cascades, a total descent of 122 metres (400 ft), the last having a clear drop of more than 21 metres (69 ft). This is definitely a nice place to go for walks and some cardio exercises. It is so close to town and we stop by for a nice lunch at Marysville township after the walk.
