Staff are lovely, the bean bags are sensational and if you prefer a seat,the balcony is great.You can even have a glass of wine while watching the movie.

I am sorry that you feel our prices are expensive. We are a community operated cinema, which was built by the community. It is staffed by students for the high school completing a School Based Apprenticeship in Media III. Without them or the government incentive we receive for employing them the cinema would not be able to run. We also hold fundraising nights for our local charities to ehlp them with their costs. Our prices have only risen once in 5 years of operation. We feel our prices are even with those in Melbourne, where you do not receive the personalized friendly service. We try our very best to keep costs down, but unfortunately the daily costs of running a cinema are very high. We do hope that you will visit us again when you are in Mansfield, and we would love you to experience our beanbags with a free upgrade.

Yes we are very lucky that we do not have to travel to be up to date with those in melbourne. We could not survive without our students, who do an amazing job

It is fantastic to have our local Cinema showing all the latest movies. We don't need to make the trip to Melbourne or wait for the video to come out! Community owned and run well by Karen Oliver and her team. Great bar serving local wines and also the usual pop corn and ice creams - coffee and tea or hot chocolate is also brought to you while you watch your movie. I have always taken my grand kids and they love the cosiness and security of the cinema.

Thank-you for your recent review on the Mansfield Armchair Cinema. As the manager I am very proud of the students effort everytime they work. Our new customers are amazed at how our cinema seating is laid out, that they can drink while watching a movie, and we will bring in their hot drinks or popcorn.

On a recent trip to the snow, we found ourselves stranded in Mansfield for the day (with 2 kids).Easy decision, lets go to the pictures.This cinema is complete delight with real country hospitality and service lead by the delightful Karen, great comfy recliners ( better than Crown Melbourne ) and beautiful large bean bags.As Molly would say, "do yourself a favour" and support this little gem.

it if is not really busy the bean bags are great, but if there are lots of kids... let them have the bean bags and opt for a chair as there is nothing more annoying that kids kicking your bean bag when you are trying to relax and watch a movie.

Took the kids to see a movie on a day off from skiing.Tickets were a little expensive I think.... We sat in the upstairs chairs which were ok, maybe not quite as comfortable as the "big cinemas" but plenty of leg room. Downstairs are beanbags and armchairs if you prefer. However, the quality of the movie and sound was very good.

What a great place to watch a movie. Huge beanbags, reclining armchairs, wine, and the staff are so accommodating, better than any cinema I have been to
