Great place to visit. Homestead not open though during the week. Toilets and picnic facilities. The most spectacular views from the cliff top which is only a short stroll. Many lovely walks that are quite short and easy to walk.

Took my husband here after telling him many times we must stop off. i know it is staffed by volunteers which I admire, however would have thought the homestead would be open on a busy Sunday. Disappointed as I had left a decent donation for entry. But worth the stop for the the walks and views.

We really enjoyed visiting the gardens and went for a long walk all the way around the tracks. Was a tad disappointed in the homestead itself though. Worth a visit if you're visiting Lakes Entrance, very easy to get to.

History, nature, great walks and views. Worth a visit anytime of the year. Not far from Lakes Entrance town so easy to get too.

This was a wonderful attraction and I suspect few bother to wander off the main road to visit it. They should. I can just imagine how much better it would be with an on-site cafe (although I understand the logistics) and how much money they could make for repairs and maintenance if visits could be combined with art shows, concerts and the like. But the house is beautiful and the view is worth the detour. I commend all the hard-working volunteers.

We checked out Nyerimilang during a recent visit to Metung, which is only about 10 minutes away. It is a gracious old homestead, built on a hill overlooking the Gippsland Lakes. Although free to visit, you are encouraged to leave a donation to help in the upkeep of the property (which we did) If you enjoy old country properties and some bush walks (there are plenty of tracks to enjoy, most of them with stunning views over the water), I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Donation entry. We went after hours, but it would be difficult to see everything if you are disabled like me. A lot of walking around, but good facilities and views. Would be worth a trip for able bodied people and children. Saw our only Kookaburra there for our holiday.

Great fun with children at all age. Hiking along the cliff top to bird watching hut and end at the Reeve channel was fun and good exercise. Beautiful view along way! Such a wonderful place to visit and have a picnic. (Bring a water bottle and wear conformable shoes if hiking and don't forget your camera)Free to entry however the Friends of Nyerimilang gladly accept donations which will be used to help maintain the park.Located between Metung and Lake Entrance! Highly Recommended.

We were there last Wednesday, when the heavens decided to open up from early morning. The homestead was closed which was disappointing. The grounds are beautiful, with great views and beautiful winding paths and walking tracks. I recommend a dry day to make the most of your visit.
