From start to finish this trip and Damo were incredible, picks you up in his mini bus, air con and snacks. His location is incredible green rolling hills all around this lake we pretty much had to ourselves, esky full of free drinks, hours of wake boarding in the morning, awesome lunch mess around on the surfboards, another wake session, his boat is great with enough weight in the back for a huge wake, pop corn and films for the way home, great guy, great day.

Couldn't recommend this trip anymore, the fact I made a trip advisor account just for this review shows how good it is! From the start of the day till the end you'll have such a good time wake boarding, wake surfing and ending on the floats. One of the best days we had in Australia over 2 months, Damos a hero aswell

Damo the instructor takes you on an action packed day from dawn till dusk. I hadn't wake boarded or surfed before but this did not matter, he was calm professional and helped me get up and surf those waves. The tubing at the end of the day was a lot of fun too. Picking us up at 9am from the hostel our group was 7 which was a good number as you have plenty of room on the boat. We were on the beautiful Lake Tinaroo by 10.30 and didn't come off the lake until the sun had gone down past 7pm. Except for lunch which was provided too. Damo provides all of the photographs for free on facebook and also snacks on the ride home. Damo also provides home brewed beers on the boat for free. There's no restriction on how many you can have and it was good beer too. Truly a fantastic day and one not to be missed.

Me and my family of 5 had an amazing time up at the lake with Damo 2 weeks ago. The whole day is really good planned and with low number of people you get plenty of room on the boat and lots of time for you to wakeboard, wake surf and go tubing! Damo was really great to us and even though we all have been wakeboarding a fair bit before we got lots of really good tips that helped us improve a lot! Thanks for that!! We had a beautiful lunch wraps and super yummy pumpkin soup! My little sister 18 to my parents 50 + all had had an amazing time, and we all said it was the most fun day of our holiday!! Big thanks from The Swedish family :)

One of the best things I did in the whole east coast of Aus. Very paitient with anyone new to wakeboarding and if thats not your thing there is sooo much more to do aswell. Oh and the food was awsome too!

Going wakeboarding and wakesurfing with Cairns Wakeboarding is absolutely great! You will love the gentle instructor Damo; he's really making the best off the day. Great hospitality and hes taking care off everything and everybody on his trip. The instructions are clear; everyone can go wakeboarding! He makes you an incredible lunch and have cold drinks on board. Next to instructing and driving the boat, he also takes incredible pictures!! Lots of fun, chilling, boarding, surfing; really recomanding this trip!!!

My first review and I felt like this one really deserved the recognition.The day out on the lake with Damo and his boat full of toys was SO MUCH FUN!I did a skydive,river boarding,the reef and Daintree rainforest in Cairns and this was the best out of all.A perfectly sized group of 7 people (if you get car sickness ask to sit in the front of the bus like one girl did, it help). We were all wakeboarding beginners and Damo was really good with all of us.You could see he genuinely wanted us to get the best experience and the highest achievement out of each person rather than just take our money and go through the motions like some tours I felt.The food was a lot and very tasty and even popcorn and dessert for the way back to Cairns.The small details during the day make it so much better.Really a comfortable feeling.I liked the surfing the most (maybe as I didn't get beaten by the girls on this one!).Thanks mate (he uses this many times) was a amazing day.

While in Yungaburra, I booked into Cairns Wakeboarding at the recommendation of the staff at my hostel, and it was one of the best decisions I made all trip. I ended up going 3 times during my stay in Yungaburra!Damo is fantastic, and patient when helping newbies learn the ropes for both wakeboarding and surfing. There's plenty of time to get to grips with both, and in the evenings you can throw all skill out the window and enjoy being spun around on giant floats while flying over waves and trying not to fall off! The food provided is top notch, the equipment and teaching as good as you can get, and since I was in Yungaburra already, he offered me a discount on the price too! Would be really hard pressed to get such a great day out for a better price.

Damo is an absolute beaut, super laid back, all about having a great day out on the lake. You are guaranteed to get up wakeboarding and wake surfing, and it is SO fun. Great lunch, beers, paddle boarding, tubing, and a gorgeous sunset! Thanks for a great day Damo!- Maddy

Damien is absolutely amazing and really caters to his groups. His hospitality definitely exceeded any expectations I had. And the prices are more than reasonable for all he offers. A must do when in the area!!

Such a brilliant day! So much fun! Damo was awesome, the boat, lake, equiment, surroundings, food, everything!! I've been twice now and hope to go again. You don't even have to pay extra for the pictures :) Always just a chilled out vibe and even though both times I went alone, it felt like a day hanging with friends. Damo really makes it worthwhile...such a cool dude! :) Would highly recommend it to anyone. You don't even have to have any experience, there is no pressure and Damo takes his time coaching everyone when/if they need it. Just go for it and love it! :)

This was by far my favourite I've done in Australia! It is perfect for anyone looking for a full day of fun without paying the high prices of going to the reef or doing a tour of the waterfalls/rain forests. Damo treats everyone like they are just a couple of friends that he is taking out to the lake rather than a bunch of tourists with a dollar sign on their head.I hadn't been into any water sports before so I was nervous my first time heading out but Damo made everyone feel very comfortable and by the end of the day everyone could wakeboard. Now I have been out three times and hope to buy my own wakeboard when I get back to Canada.I would recommend this to anyone heading up to Cairns!

I have done a reef trip,the rainforest,a mountain bike ride,white water rafting and now wakeboarding and wakesurfing.This without doubt was the best trip I did in the Cairns area!!So much fun in a single day.I don't know why this trip is so cheap (but I'm happy it was).Thanks Damo, KEEP ON ROCKING brother!

Friggin awesome is all I have to say! Thanks Damo for making the day out on the lake so memorable. I got suggested this trip by yet another travel agent and was unsure because I had never done much watersports and no way wakeboarding. I thought I would try out of my comfort zone and wow, so much fun! If the trip wasn't full I would have gone again today. Super friendly and funny instructor, relaxed day, beautiful lake, 5 different watersports and mountains of tasty food (I need the caramel choco recipe!!). Couldn't have asked for a better day and cheap! Do it!

Never done it before but I have now, absolutely mint day with top people and instructor. Quality equipment, lovely healthy food for the energy you need. Top boat with class lake & to finish it off with a few other water sports. Cant wait to go back :-)
