The excitement built for our 3 boys as we waited to board the very comfy looking boat, skippered by Tracy. It was to be our early Christmas celebration. We had invited along the inlaws and with 4 adults and 3 kids on the boat we were very comfortable. Grandad had a snooze, Grandma a wine and the boys loved having a turn at sitting in the skippers seat. My wife enjoyed watching the kids fish without having to get to involved. I apprecitated the fishing experience and seeing the joy on the face of the boys when they hooked a fish. It didn't matter to them what they caught, they were just so pleased to catch something.Dinner was simple but yummy and sailing back in the dark of night watching the stars come out was a wonderful way to end such a relaxing afternoon.

We did a 4 hour cruise on Lake Tinaroo. We had 7 adults plus the skipper (Tracy). It was a birthday party with a difference. It was very comfortable seating and very stable, even though it was blowing about 10+ knots. The Lake is a birdwatchers haven and naturalists zone. You can fish for one of the metre + Barramundi that Tinaroo is world famous for. Fishing gear and bait is provided however you need to buy your fishing permit beforehand.The skipper , Tracy, knows her stuff. She takes you where you want (fishing for the Barra , birdwatching or just relaxing). Tracy is a great tour guide. She is a real character, she makes the cruise that bit more enjoyable. and she cooks lunch (we provided the rissoles and sausages). We will definitely return for another cruise, maybe a sunset cruise over the Lake.

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and evening with Tracy on the lake, and were impressed by her enthusiasm, knowledge, and attention to detail - and she is a fascinating personality in her own right. The boat itself is well equipped, innovative and very comfortable, and proved a stable and effective platform for our pursuit of the elusive big Barra, with lure casting, trolling, and live baiting all catered for. While the weather and the fish weren't particularly kind on this occasion, the bird life and the tranquil scenery alone make the trip worthwhile. Definitely a repeatable experience, and the highlight of our stay in Yungaburra.

Stan (Tracy's dad) was amazing. So knowledgeable and patient! We felt absolutely at home on the boat. Showed us all the little things that made Lake Tinaroo even more amazing! Thanks very much for making our honeymoon so memorable.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip on the morning of a total solar eclipse. We floated on the tranquil lake, with no other people or boats in sight, and watched the eclipse. The experience was awesome. The boat's skipper, Tracy, who has a natural charm and enthusiasm, made us feel welcome. She cooked up delicious pancakes on the boat, and served them with fresh tropical fruit and champagne.

The whole family had a really peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable cruise topped off with a bar-b-q. Thanks to Stan our skipper for showing us the points of interest and keeping us entertained. We are Yungaburra locals and must do it again.

Thank you Stan for taking us out on Boxing Day - what a wonderful relaxing afternoon/evening! Pity the barra had also eaten too much over Christmas and weren't interested in our attempts to lure them onto a line!! The cruise was a perfect way to unwind and celebrate after a busy year.

Took my family out on the boat with Tracy and Stan and couldn't have asked to meet two more friendly and hospitable operators. Nothing was a hassle and we felt welcome from the first minute. We searched high and low for the shifty barra and it was great to know that the guides were as keen for us to catch a barra as much as my son was. Great food and great company and I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants a fun time with good food and fantastic hosts. Thanks Tracy and Stan, we are coming back soon!

My family have been cruising with Lake Tinaroo Cruises twice now. So good was the first trip when my young son caught his first ever fish that he asked to come back for his birthday. The skipper made him feel very special on his big day and nothing was too much trouble. I felt this was the best investment I have made in connecting with my family in years and I know we will all treasure the experience for years to come. For us this is likely to become a regular tradition when the barra are biting or we think its time to celebrate something together in a special place.My son said his 10th birthday on Lake Tinaroo Cruises was the best day of his life, (you can't beat that!)

Had a wonderful afternoon on Lake Tinaroo. Tracey our skipper was full of energy and was the right person to take us out. Although the weather was poor we had a fish but caught nothing...never mind. It didn't really matter that we didn't get any fish. Enjoyed a lovely dinner of red claw and sausage sandwiches. Time seemed to fly. Will definitely be back. Thankyou.

This is becoming a holiday staple for our family - we'll be back again next time we're at Tinaroo.On our first cruise with Lake Tinaroo Cruises, Tracy was the perfect skipper and host. Nothing was too much trouble. We spent a glorious afternoon taking in the scenery, swimming and fishing, while enjoying a couple of drinks, nibbles and barbecue. Our entire family loved it.When we returned again this Easter, we were again cared for by perfect hosts - this time Stan and Bec. It was another wonderful half day on the water. Stan went to great pains to ensure our children reeled in a couple of fish each and had the proud photos to take home as proof. Bec was attentive and keen to ensure we relaxed, serving out our food and topping up drinks. This is a wonderful family experience and you'll be in great hands with this lovely local family.Can't wait 'til we go back again.

This was the 5th celebration of my turning 60, my family and friends were provided with the most wonderful experience, we had over 4 hours of cruising on the lake, eating, drinking and overall having a great time, the sunset was beautiful, the boat had been decorated for the occasion, nothing was lacking. The highlight, I believe, was my grandson being "skipper" as he kept a close eye on the depth gauge. Thank you Tracey for making one of my celebrations so very special!!! Wear comfy clothes, take binoculars and a camera!!

I have done this trip a number of times and never cease to thoroughly enjoy the experience. The boat is very comfortable, the crew are exceptional, the location is breathtaking. Great for socialising, small parties, enjoying nature, fishing or relaxing. I highly recommend booking with Tracey and family for a wonferful time.
