Lots of great buildings and exhibits - in fact too many to take in on one visit - but that is all we had. The buildings had been assembled from all around the area and the exhibits donated by many local people. Very well set out and interesting information.

The village like display. It bought back many memories of my childhood. The school room and the hospital were my favourite displays.

Worth every minute that you have to spare to visit this unique historical precinct. What a huge collection of memorabilia from times gone by

so much to see!the exhibitions covers such a broad subject range that you can split up and see areas that may interest you from medical equipment, shell/stone/money collections, cars, war relics etc. Tabby the cat was asleep on the carriages adding a nice touch. We were the only visitors apart from Gas workers and the $35 entrance fee for the family means pretty good value.

An exhaustive collection of all things yesteryear. From steam trains to buildings and cars to artifacts. Better than many other historical villages/museums we have visited due to it's cleanliness and access to all buildings. If you are lucky you may even get a personal tour from 'Rosie' the resident tabby.

Miles Historical Village is different to but equally as good as Stockman's Hall of Fame/Qantas Museum etc. There is much more detail at Miles and it needs time to properly appreciate this wonderful village. It is a credit to its founders and volunteers. If traveling the 4 hours from Brisbane stay overnight to allow time to enjoy this first class facility.

What a great museum. Glad to see that so much history has been preserved. The entry price isn't expensive and there is so much to see. Definitely a great place to visit.

What a little gem! It you are going through Miles take the time to check out the Miles Historical Village and Museum. One of the best I have ever been to!

This historical village was very big and the buildings contained a large quantity of very interesting vintage items. This would have been a great place to take kids with a picnic as there was plenty of room to roam around. It was one of the better historical places we have been to.

Had seen this spot advertised in the Travel brochures. Well worth the visit. It brought back memories of my childhood. The buildings are very well set out and interesting to look at. The old cars were great to see. If I ever get the chance it would be good to bring the grandchildren to see how things were in their great grandparents day!

This was a really great place to take the kids. They were so enthusiastic about all the different things they saw. I was really impressed by the amount of things on display and the way they displayed everything.Kids loved it and I would definitely recommend to passer bys or anyone looking for first hand history.

we took our grandchildren and were able to show them lots of memories from our own childhood .it is very well set up and well worth a visit.my grandson said 'did they have cars when you were growing up ? so it was good to show him and tell him a little about our childhood'. '

This place was recommended to us, when we arrived and seen a $14 entry fee almost walked away. I'm so happy we didn't, it was great a real nice piece of history. I may have even found a piece of my own family history immigrating from Scotland. If you've got a spare $14 pop in and have look around. Give yourself a good hour or two.

We travel up the Leichardt Hwy to visit family in Northern Queensland. So we stop at various towns to see the local sites, especially anything historic as we love history. The Miles museum and Visitor Information Centre is located on Warrego Highway. (Turn right at the T intersection). There are a few dozen replicas of historical buildings of the 1920's. Yes it is similar to Coal Creek in Korumburra or the Pioneer museum at Swan Hill, but different too, so well worth a look.
