Jimbour is a sandstone French mansion set on the Jimbour Plain. It is a working cattle and grain property and has vineyards and a winery. The garden around the house has recently been rebuilt.

A grand, historic property beautifully maintained. The property is privately owned so you can't see the interior but the grounds are truly spectacular as is the location. The signboards dotted around the gardens are very interesting and offer insight into the origins of both the property and the area. We spent a lovely lazy hour wandering through the grounds… the Jacarandas were in flower when we visited and the tree-lined entrance was truly enchanting. With a little imagination you can really see how the property would have looked when the home was originally built. They also have some photographs displayed of the early days. A $4 donation is requested at entrance… so worth it. Only 20 mins drive out of Dalby.

Heritage listed Jimbour House and gardens are a sight to be seen. Explore this at the Opera at the Vineyards or plan a wedding there, simply stunning !
