We stopped here for a couple of hours so the kids could run around. They both had fun but both came away with new bruises (which happens with kids at playgrounds). There were a lot of kids under 5 of the new part of the playground, which is not designed for such little people. (but in saying that there were no signs recommending ages for the playground).

We went to Underwood park (nicknamed funderwood park by locals) on Sunday just gone. We had a 4 kids with us ranging from 3-10 years. I was expecting it to be much bigger because of all the hype it was given when it was first built. It has 3 separate little playgrounds. One of them is wooden and has a bridge, please note if going with younger children that this is very hard to get them out of as the roofs are about 1 metre high. There was also a flying fox, toilets, bbq area and netball courts there which teams were playing on when we arrived. I think the park itself was great and the kids had lots of fun which is the main thing, but it was a bit disappointing as it wasn't worth all the hype it was given. There is about 4 carparks surrounding this park so there is definitely lots of places to park and a few shelters with BBQs if planning a kids birthday party. Make sure you take a drink bottle! There was only one bubbler we seen which was behind the toilets on the way out.
