Took my 3 kids (14, 11 & 11) this past weekend when in town visiting relatives. This park is fantastic - I jumped in and joined them. It was a hot day and this was a fun way to cool down. There were staff positioned throughout the area, music playing, clean restrooms, a view of the bay, a kiosk, shady trees for those not getting wet to sit under and observe - best of all its free. This is a must visit place in Hervey Bay! I wish we had something like this here on the Sunshine Coast :(

It is a awesome park for you and you're family also the good news is that it's free so visit soon ...

If you have children, you should take them. Children will enjoy the water fountains, water slide (big and small), running around on a hot summer day. The best valued attraction (no entry fee) in hervey bay. Check out the opening hours as they are closed on some days and winter months.

Had a blast at this water park sooooo much fun! I am a big kid so shows that anyone at any age can have a great time here!

Great place to cool off and entertain the kids and it's free. Different activities and slides for different age kids

This is a must visit for the younger set when it is nice and hot in summer. The water features are excellent and educational. One can spent hours here without the kids getting bored. There is ample storage and facilities for all the family. Will return for more fun with the grand kids one day.

Wow! The whole concept is a winner here, it's educational, it's interactive, it's clean and safe! We spent a morning here as a 3 generation family and loved it. Poppa took photos of the water features and the views from the back area, while we enjoyed the water in the play area. There were all ages, sharing and participating. We didn't see any silly or unsafe behaviour and we even saw an elderly, fully dressed grandmother decide to spontaneously join her grandkids! She 'played' on all the activities and had a ball. Good on you lady! If it's a hot day there is limited shade, so use heaps of sunscreen. We need one of these on the Gold Coast.

This is a great safe zone with seating and shade and a fun water experience for kids and adults alike. Our first time there and we loved it. Unfortunately part of the park was closed at the time we were there but that didn't hinder us having fun. Definitely more favourable for younger children but the beach is right next to it and easy to go and have a swim in too.

this is a wonderful place for the smaller kids where you don't have to worry to much about the depth of water, my kids thoroughly enjoy it

There's not many activities free these days but Westside is a definite must do. Entirely free , except for the surfing thing, this zero level water park provided hours of entertainment for my little ones. Only down side was the lack of anywhere nearby to buy lunch.

This is a great spot to take the kids on a hot day or if you just want to relax while viewing the beautiful bay as the kids have a fantastic time playing in the water park. This is fantastic value and the kids absolutely love the water guns, the water slide and the water jets to run around in. After a while the kids may get bored of the park but when you think about the price, the fun your kids have had and the time it has occupied them it all adds up to an absolutely fantastic afternoon out.

Great if you're really hot but otherwise you're kids will quickly tire of this park. Not complianing - nice facility and price is right!
