This was one of the highlights of our recent driving holiday. After safety instructions and a brief practice run, riding the zip line was easy. It was an incredible experience being up so high in the canopy sharing the space with the wildlife and gliding through the trees at our own pace. Watching the flying-foxes up close was fascinating and gives a true appreciation of what amazing creatures they are. Dave and Donna are to be congratulated, their property is fantastic and Forest Flying is eco-tourism at its best.

Dave & Donna are a wealth of knowledge. So friendly & accommodating. They take you through everything, answer all the questions, very Eco aware. We had a group of 6 & we all enjoyed it. I will definately return on my next trip to the area

Firstly I'd like to say how lovely Dave and Donna are, my mum has never done anything adventurous and is terrified of everything lol but she got on the forest flying and really enjoyed it. Donna was really good at putting my mum at ease. The forest flying are so much fun just wish that it went for a bit longer. There is two cables you get to go flying down. Overall a really nice experience.

So much fun! The guy that runs it is so helpful, friendly and informative. I absolutely loved the experience of flying through the trees and being in control of how fast or slow I went. Great value for money.

We have travelled around Queensland a few times but wanted to try things that appealed to the whole family, including a 7 and 9 year old. This activity was one of the most memorable parts of our trip, especially combined with a trip to see the platypus only a few km's away. The English couple who run it are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome, taking time to really explain about the habitat of the rainforest. We were lucky to be there when the colony of bats had just arrived back for the winter. This is not a high action zip wire. You control your own speed through the rain forest canopy and can really take in the beauty and tranquility of the place. The owners have worked really hard to create this unique attraction, having real care for the habitat they care for.

Had a wonderful morning at Forest Flying with Dave and Donna who were most attentive to our every need. It was magical in the tree tops as the light misty rain fell and kept us cool. The subtle zip of the cable was accompanied by the carcophony of flying foxes as they jockeyed for position high up in the vegetation. It's clear that Dave and Donna know every inch of their magnificent propery and they were keen to point out all the interesting bush tucker along the way. Both were very proud to show off the attraction they have carved from the virgin rain forest. Obviously they live and work in complete harmony with the natural surrounds. The extperience starts and finishes at a quirky little hut built into the side of a hill. At all times safety is paramount and there's no need to be fearful of heights but do wear closed in shoes. We were a party of 6, and the experience took about an hour and a half.Strongly recommend that you book ahead and their have EFTPOS facilities. All together a great morning.
