We had a fabulous trip to Montague Island with Wazza and crew. We went out in the evening, in order to see the fairy penguins on the island who come in at sunset from their day fishing.The swell was quite large and the weather a little ominous so the boat trip out & back was quite exciting - especially coming back in the dark! The children thought it was a great adventure (& so did we!). We saw 100's of seals on our way in (the weather wasn't suitable for snorkelling) which was amazing. Once on the island we had a very interesting tour with the guide from National Parks & loved all that we heard and saw on and and about the island.Wazza is clearly passionate about the area and loves what he does. We hope to go back at a different time of year to see the whales & we will definitely use Lighthouse Charters again!

A perfect day discovering Montague Island. Wazza (the skipper) and Simon were great, both capable, professional and friendly and looked after our maximum sized group of 10. Snorkels, flippers and wetsuits were available for a snorkel with the seals experience, just off Montague Island. For those that didn't want to brave the cold water, hot tea and coffee were supplied. Once on land, we were met by the National Parks and Wildlife Guide who gave an informative tour of the lighthouse and island. Wazza packed some yummy Tilba cheese and crackers for our morning tea. Thanks for a lovely half day tour, I would imagine the Whale Watch tours (Sept to Nov) to be spectacular!
