This was a great charter and we got to spend over an hour in the water with the seals! Chris and his deckhand Will are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable! They looked after us, even providing a cup of tea and cinnamon bun for afternoon tea! I would recommend this charter to anyone wanting to swim with the seals and see the island. I would recommend getting seasick tablets for anyone going to island who has a tendency to get motion sick (it can get very choppy).

Went out today with Chris, great morning! Even though it's low season there were still many seals. Amazing to get up close with these animals. Chris is an extremely nice guy and knows the area. The trip was organised well and atmosphere on the boat was relaxed. Snacks and hot and cold drinks was taken care of. Will be back! Pieter

I had an awesum trip out at Montague Island with Chris and his deckie. He was always very friendly and accommodating. The dive with the seals was amazing and all the diving gear was in great nick. I recommend anyone to give diving a go with Chris. Best thing was he made everyone feel safe diving and especially driving the boat.

I am a local here in Narooma and have been on many charter boats for many different trips. Island Charters Narooma "Chris & Cecilia" are amazing and the unique tour they offer "Meal with a Seal" is impressive. I have taken many visitors to the island with these guys and have had such positive feedback. My number one choice by far and would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience amazing local produce and food prepared by an elite local chef as well as an educational and extremely amazing experience. Impressive!!!!!

We had a great time while scuba diving in Montague Island! Island Charters Narooma provide you with everything you need and they are really good in what they are doing. Chris and his crew were fantastic and even he had a small injury on the boat he managed to complete out trip so we could go for a second dive. I went with them snorkeling with seals two years ago which was also great experience. If you don't have a scuba diving cerf go for snorkeling which is also amazing life experience! Play with the seals like with kids!

Chris and his crew were fantastic. He is friendly and full of enthusiasm with all the local knowledge. We did snorkel with the seals which was amazing, seals frolicking in clear water adjacent to island with 30 ft drop. Husband did fishing (and caught some!) while I did island tour with Natio parks guys, I think Will and Brett, they were great, full of great stories, entertaining and passion for their job. Highly recommended.

So you want to go out to Montegue Island and do some snorkelling or diving and you would like to go with an operator who is enthusiastic, helpful and loves what they do? …….Then look no further tham Island Charters NaroomaFrom my first phone call , Chris was very helpful, offered advice on somewhere to stay and then made the day a very memorable one.First the booking…Chris outlined that we should call him first thing in the morning just to be sure of the weather situation.. He also offered a suggestion for accommodation at Narooma…the Ecotel http://www.ecotel.com.au/ it was a really nice budget motel with a fantastic view of Narooma and the harbour and we had the pleasure of a guitar music recital by a friend of the owners that evening.Next morning we arrived at the harbour to a very friendly greeting from Chris and his crew member, loaded on our scuba gear and headed off to Montague Island….had a pod of Common Dolphins along the way and Chris made it easy for us to take some photos of them. He made it very plain that he feels he has the best job in the world and really enjoys what he does. On arriving at Montague island we received a really good briefing on the sites available and reached a consensus to dive with the seals at the Eastern end of the island. The water was CLEAR and the seals very playful , along with some really big rays and lots of fish species. A leaky mask, was replaced with Chris’s own and when I didn’t have a yoke to din adapter for my din fitted regulator he generously allowed me to use his brand new mares. (Neither of which he charged me hire for even though I offered to pay for them)After a warm drink and a snack the second dive was as good as the first. Chris provided a fantastic day out whale watching for the whole family. We saw plenty of whales and seals. It was a great boat and Chris is a very informative guide. It was a kid friendly environment.
