Nice guys, good value, great fun, good instruction, easy to find. Thumbs up! Weather was not great but a go on the paddle boards was still fun. We shared 2 for an hr (4 people) - that was plenty of time.

We had a great time snorkelling at cook island. The kit was good and guidance was great, many thanks to Sian and skipper Mal. We even spotted a dolphin on the way back! Despite a couple of last minute time changes it was definitely worth it. We saw turtles and plenty of fish! If you get sea sick I would advise taking some tablets prior to going as it was quite choppy. A highly recommended snorkel tour!

These guys have it sorted. Great gear, great advice and heaps of fun. The kids did the JAG Junior Adventure Guru program and had a ball. They know their stuff, and everyone had a great time.

Waterspouts Guru has provided some fantastic experiences for our family. I was here last September with my two boys aged 9 and 12 and, on the basis of their experience with JAG (Junior Activities Guru - a 3 hour program sampling lots of different water activities) and all of us going on the guided kayaking tour, we have returned to Kingscliff. Overall, I'm really impressed by the high calibre of the team at Watersports Guru. Such genuine enjoyment of helping people have fun on the water translates into a positive experience for even the most inexperienced. On this trip, the boys again had a day with JAG, and the next day the family went on a three hour kayak trip up to Cudgen Lake. All equipment provided and Tim came and collected us from the lake. While we are inexperienced kayakers, this was a safe waterway and we managed it without problems - mainly because Tim ensured we left at the right time to take advantage of the tide flow!Gear hire is reasonably priced and comes with a smile and help to get going. As I said before, I really can’t speak highly enough of this team. Extra thanks to Tim and Bri for looking after my family on this trip. We’ll be back!

I have 2 grandchildren aged 3&6 yo. I took them canoeing and standup paddle boarding. The staff ensured our safety was their priority. We all had so much fun. The cost of hiring the canoe and paddle board was very reasonable. We truly had an amazing time. The staff are friendly courteous and as mentioned previously safety along with ensuring we had an enjoyable experience is their primary concern. I will certainly return!

Great bunch of guys. So many experiences to offer, and whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. I can not speak highly enough of the whole team. We've tried paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkelling and surfing. Was 2 years since our last holiday here and we're wrapped to see the gang who made our first holiday so amazing. Cheers guys we will be back

Just had the best couple of days on kingscliff creek. We hired a SUP for an hour on both days and had a ball. Great value for money for the hole family. Would recommend this for anyone. Tip check the tides and try and go on the incoming tide just before high and you will not be disappointed

That was my sons words ! This was the absolute highlight for our son on our family holiday. Not once, twice but 3 times Nick came along to the Guru water-sports and he hasn't stop raving about how unreal the whole experience has been! Keep hearing Bree, Matt and the guys are awesome and all the different activities. He will definitely be doing it again in the near future. Even offered to teach us how to canoe!!! I'm so glad he got to have this experience and learn so many different great outdoor activities, so much more stimulating for the brain. Thanks guys absolutely fantastic and all very best for the new year! An absolute must for the kids⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hey Matt, I missed out on this trip but Sian did say it was like being back home in the U.K! I love this time of year when the warm water brings in our friendly leopard sharks for the Summer. I know sharks seem to get painted with the same brush but as you now know, how seriously cute are those spotted smiling leopards. I think the turtles have to share the spot light this time of year. Hey Gai,That was an awesome trip! Not everyday we get to see whales on our snorkelling trip so close!After 10 years I still love going to Cook Island and hanging out with the Turtles. And your right Mal (skipper) is a champion, though I don't think his tasty BBQ's are great for my waistline ; )
