Some spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and examples of past wars as you walk along through the bush. Its a clear track, unsealed but needing only average fitness. It does go up and down a bit and is not suited to disabled but otherwise a great bush walk. Takes about 40 minutes one way.

The Trail from Balmoral Bach to Chowder Bay is just amazing. You can easy spot a lot of birds and others animals which would never show up in Europe on a forrest walk.A must do for sure in Mosman!!

All the walks around Middle Head from Mosman to Balmoral are magnificent. The trails all run along the shore and you get a new perspective on the harbour around each bend. There are some steps in places but there is also plenty of seating along the way as well as a number of restaurants and coffee shops if you need a break.Plenty of wild life too and the lizards at this time of year are cheeky and friendly.Catch a ferry to Taronga and walk all the way to Balmoral if you can. There is lots of military history to be seen in the gun emplacements and memorials and also some of the best views of the city and the Heads.

I love a good stroll around the foreshore & this section is a particularly nice stretch. There is a little coffee shop/ hole in the wall to buy a snack & espresso as a reward.

It was a fantastic walk, a bit scary for my wife the steps at the end but no real danger of falling, I was carrying my 2yo sun on my shoulders. Very nice emplacements and views from the top of middle head.A must do if you live in Sydney or if you come on holidays

The walk from Bradleys Head is mostly easy with a few stairs and steep'ish sections. View of the Harbour and inlets are fabulous, and of course you get to see how some of "the other half" live!

Walking along the Sydney harbour is a great way to spend the day outside especially when in Chowder Bay. There is access to Ripples and East Coast Lounge wine bar and cafe which adds a lovely finishing touch to any long stroll.

One of the walks with great views of the Sydney Harbour. It's beautiful and I really had fun. It's almost 7km walk and it took us about 3hrs with plenty of rest in between. :-)From Circular Quay we took a ferry to Taronga Zoo and started the Taronga to Balmoral Walk at lunch time. Just 15 mins on the track and we stopped by the Athol Hall for cakes, tea and coffee. As we continued our walk, we've noticed that the tracks are well maintained and are relatively flat until Chowder Bay. You may see wildlife if you are lucky, lots of lorikeets and kookaburas, we even saw a bunny! The walk from Chowder Bay to Balmoral requires more fitness because of the uphill stairs. However, it's really worth it to see the Georges Head and Georges Heights. From here, it would be easier since the steps goes down to Balmoral. There's plenty of opportunities to rest and eat since you will find cafés and restaurants throughout the walk.

Balmoral beach was a great find. Really relaxed place with lovely sandy beach, jetty, swimming, boats, and across the road some lovely cafes. Perfect place to spend the day with young children, who enjoyed making and castles and paddling in the crystal clear water, with some small waves! Possibly the highlight of our stay in Sydney.

Love the stairs! This walk isn't suitable for anyone that isn't physically active or has injuries. Chowder Bay is beautiful and is well worth the walk over there.

We commenced our walk at Balmoral. It was a varied track with both bush & ocean views. There were rest seats along the way. A fantastic view of what Sydney has to offer.

Great walking - up 260 steps to North Head, great views across the harbour, stop at Georges Height look-out and find out the history of the harbour , walk down to the great snacks at the kiosk cafe at Chowder Bay- breakfast roll and coffee in a stripey deck-chair

Aproveite num dia de sol, mas vá com sapatos específicos para caminhada, chapéu e proteção para as pernas (dos galhos). Tenha protetor solar e talvez repelente
