What a lovely place to sit and chill for a bit. Architecture, shelter, and lovely gardens, right in the centre of Goulburn. Take a break from shopping, grab a coffee or lunch from a variety of establishments nearby, or fist the Goulburn tourist info centre across the road. Parking easy

This is a rectangle park in the centre of Goulburn. It was planted with english trees over 100 years ago and the shade during the warmer months is great to enjoy. On the Eastern or lower side there is a great kids park with equipment. It's reasonably safe with a fence on te eastern side making it harder for the little ones to get away.Sounds simple however it has free toilets on the southern side and this seems to be a place that a lot of people stop off to use.So a nice place to sit in the shade and enjoy the plants. Lovely

If you're travelling along the freeway between Sydney and Canberra, Goulburn is the perfect place to take a break. Belmore Park is in the centre of the city and is full of beautiful established trees, shady, well kept and very green. This is the only park in the city that is maintained, even during times of drought. It has a wonderful kids play area with plenty of seating around for adults. There are a lot of covered picnic tables close to the play area as well. Plenty of parking around all sides of the park with room for buses. In recent years a stylish fence has been erected next to the play area to give additional security. There are many cafes in the vicinity where you could purchase lunch and then sit and eat in the park. Well worth the small detour off the freeway.

Belmore Park is situated in the heart of Goulburn. The park itself takes up a complete block in Auburn Street (the main street of Goulburn) between Montague and Market Streets. The park is opposite the historic Goulburn Court House and is also a short walk to Goulburn's historic railway station, plus other historic buildings such as the Post Office and clock tower, various churches and cathedrals. The park contains many species of trees and shrubs. When we visited (in the Spring time), there was a lovely flower display. Toilet facilities are available in the park, and there is plenty of parking in the side streets and the park includes a good children's playground area. It is a pleasure to walk through the park and it is always well presented.

Very nice to wander around the park. Nice toilets. I like to visit Dimmy's near the Clock Tower. The gardens are well kept and regularly maintained.

I frequently take my young boys here as they enjoy it and constantly nag me. Great for a pit stop during the day for travelers with a young family.

Could only judge by looks as we were in a coach. However the park was well kept and nicely green. I liked that the gardens were very well kept.

Belmore Park in Goulburn was a shady and cool respite from the heat as we stopped on our journey to and from Sydney. Several years ago, during the drought, the park was dry, brown and unwelcoming. The public toilets are clean and well kept. The park and gardens are now well tendered and it is a joy to be able to sit and savour the quiet, or take your lunch back into the park for a quiet meditation.

This is a terrific park with plenty to see and do. There's a lovely playground for kids which my daughter didn't want to leave after nearly two hours there. There's good public toilets, a fountain, a conservatory and plenty more. It's a lovely place to while away a couple of hours.
