If you want to learn about the aboriginallies this show is a must see. Excellent and informative. Very well done. Willing to pose for photos before and after the show although the time is limited due to only a short amount of time between the shows. an excellent show and resturaunt too. very happy we went there. the fee is small

My partner and I visited the centre and were quite pleased. All of the items in the shop were very interesting and well priced.The staff were very lovely and not 'in your face'. We ask some questions and they were delighted to help us. The show was beautiful and well done. Lots of information in a short period of time. Australia needs more celebration and sharing of indigenous culture! Respect to all performers.

We visited here during the Blue Mountains tour with Andersons Tours.Was great place to visit. They do little stage shows of typical Aboriginal song and dance. Explained how the Aboriginal families work together, their different languages and how they hunted for food. Great lessons in history about Aboriginals and explains some of todays Australia. Very educational, great for both kids and adults. At the end of the shows you can get your pics with the guys.Great shop for gifts, Boomerangs and many other original and unique Aboriginal things

I learned so much from this short visit about aboriginal Australia. And being there on Australia day was a bonus. Having the ability to see and purchase authentic aboriginal art was awesome.

We sat there for all the presentations - you need to to get a real feel of it. A variety of presentations which were very clear.

We enjoyed the aboriginal show downstairs - for only $10. It was about 20 minutes, but the information was good. The shop had all kinds of print art (pricey) and a wide variety of t-shirts. The cafe upstairs was slow in serving, but the food was decent. We also got great buys on $5 safari and baseball hats. The location is right next to the three sisters formation lookout. The aboriginal staff were kind enough to take photos (no fee) after their presentation.

We just happened upon Waradah Aboriginal Centre just before their 11:00am show. Much better than I expected, not "Hollywood" at all - very original, sensitive, and informative. Although I have seen many other shows like this in Australia - it was certainly worth the visit. I would recommend Peter and his brothers, sister and nephew - their dance, stories, explanations on animals, digeridoo etc wonderful. Amazing gift shop too - thanks. Strongly recommend - if you have got 40 minutes then do this. Right near echo point Katoomba.

We travelled by train from Sydney to Katoomba (2 hours) in the Blue Mountains and then bought tickets for the Red Double Decker Hop On/Hop Off Bus which takes you on a tour of the Blue Mountain area. At one of the stops is the Waradah Aboriginal Centre.The performers are very good in their explanations of their ancestry, ceremonies and customs and one of them explained the origin of the Didgeridoo and demonstrated the noises that could be created from the instrument.A good 30 minute show for just AU$15.

We made the 10am show here which was interesting, educational, and well worth $15AUD. Some hotels give you a pass, though we made up for this in the shop afterwards! The adjacent car park is $4AUD per hour.You will see dances, learn about the didgeridoo, where the performer's different tribes are from, and have an opportunity to take photos with them afterwards.There is an exhibition that explains the history since the English arrived which is very informative.The shop is well stocked with aboriginal art made or decorated by locals.Make this a stop on your tour - you won't be disappointed, wish there was more of this around Australia.

This was a great highlight of a tour that wasn't that good. It was very entertaining, educational, and well done. The cast was awesome and we learned a TON about aboriginal life and history. It seemed very authentic and we wish it had lasted longer. Definitely worth the price and something everybody should see while in the area.

Our visit to the Waradah Aboriginal Centre was part of our tour of the Blue Mountains. The show duration is just about right, about half an hour, and it gave visitors a glimpse into the lifestyle led by Australia Aborigines via a series of dance performances. The cast members, all native Aborigines, were very good, and everyone in the audience loved it. Unfortunately, our bus was leaving as soon as the show was over, so we didn't have time to really shop, or take photos with the cast members. If you have the time, you should not miss it.

Australia does not have enough of this type of celebration of our Aboriginal heritage and this one is top quality. It costs $15 (our tickets were free and I know other tours offer discounted tickets). For that you get a very authentic 25 minute show that gives a really good, though obviously limited, insight into the culture. The participants were extremely good and I left feeling like I had seen a great show. There is also a well stocked shop at the attraction.

The Waradah Aboriginal Centre in Katoomba is a lovely place to gain a sense of the traditional Aboriginal people from this area. While I didn't see the show, I did spend a large amount of time wandering around the gift shop marvelling at the beautiful and intricate artworks on display. There are numerous unique items to see and available for purchase. The staff are also amazing. In particular, the staff who I met, Katie, Chris, Jess and Cecilia are polite and very customer service savvy. They all went out of their way to assist my family on our visit. Thanks for the great conversation girls!

As part of the Blue Mountain tour ran by AAT Kings we were dropped off at the Waradah Aboriginal Center, in April 2014. The staff at the centre told us that there was a show that would be starting in a couple of minutes and it would cost us $10 to see it (discounted from the normal price of $15). I asked how long the show would be and was told 20 minutes. This was the first time that this add-on to our tour was mentioned. This put me off and I passed on this show.The center has a washroom and a couple of cafes. The majority of merchandise was over priced souvenirs. There was some aboriginal art as well. The junk food in the center was over priced and could be gotten at a lower price in the Tourist Information Center that was located close by. Most of the people bought their snacks here as this is where the bus dropped us off. I felt that the tourists had been taken advantage of here and I told the bus driver that I though that this center was one large tourist trap. He indicated that we are entitled to our opinions.
